It was a bright morning. All were wake up. A girl was sitting on her study table with a pen in her hand. Hair tied into a messy bun with a pencil tucked between them. She was surfing on her laptop. She was noting down something when her mom called "Mallika beta are u awake"

"Yes Maa" She answered peeping out her door. "Maa ek cup coffee do na pls" She added

"Coming dear" Her dad interrogated.

She again looked down in her book and started noting down her notes. "When is this project ending," She said

The door opened revealing her most favorite hero, her Baba "Baba u" She asked shocked

"Yech beta our kitchen is under my control today" He bowed

"Is Maa all right" She panicked

"Yes! It's just my wish"

"Then it's ok" She sighed

"U seem busy" He knotted

"Yeah we have engagement on 16th of this month na and the submission is on 17th so I won't get time due to shopping and all so completing everything" She smiled blushed

"Oh my child seems pretty excited for her engagement" He teased

"Baba," She said with a tint of pink color over her cheeks

He went out as his wifey called him.

"Yes Ji," He said

"Whats this Ji and all " She complained

He grinned at her and she said " Stop grinning and just call your princess''

He called her and she came down running.

"What happened," She asked checking everywhere

"Nothing sees it's ur Sasumaa's call" Here Maa said

"Yes Mom'' She spoke

"Dear what about shopping" The voice

"Mom I was thinking about wearing one of the dresses I have for engagement and will buy some for the wedding and these rituals," She said

"As u wish beta" Mom smiled

"Beta what about the ring"

" Can we go to buy it tomorrow as I have some projects today"

"Ok then meet u tomorrow," Mom said and the call declined

"See my princess has grown so much," Baba said patting her head.

Mallika's POV

I left from there for completing projects. And I also have to revise things my exams are starting from 1st of August.

The day passed in the same process. I am just now re-arranging my study table and planning my schedule for tomorrow. The college has given this week off for us and then on Sunday, it's our farewell. Huh!! I have to choose my dress for that too. 

"Not now, I am tired," I thought and jumped in the bed. I hugged my Sugar and tried to sleep but then was reminded of my Love. Sumedh, we didn't talk today. 

"Should I call him?" I thought 

"No, he must be asleep" I added 

I slept without any thought.

It was the next day the sun rays were peeping in from the balcony trying to wake up a sleepy head. He got up after lots of denials. "Aap late kyu nhi hote," He asked sun pouting. 

Sumedh's POV 

I was gazing at the never-to-be-late "Sun". When the door opened "It must be my mom" I thought and carried on with my work. 

"Good Morning Sumi!" The voice came 

"From when did my mom's voice change," I thought and turned back. 

Mallika, how is she here at this time. She came to me and sat in front. "Good Morning" I wished taking her hand in mine. She jerked her hand and hugged me. "Aaj itna pyaar" I teased. She hit my chest with her soft hand. It didn't hurt me. 

"Mallika Sumedh come down quickly" Dau called 

"Coming" I replied 

We walked down hand in hand talking with each other, not talking teasing instead. 

"U didn't call me yesterday, u forget me" I complained

"Then u would have called" 

"Why should only call" I whined 

"I was hell busy yesterday'' She explained 

"What were u busy with" 

"I had to complete my projects and study too," She said 

"Sumedh get ready quickly we have to go shopping" Monika bhabhi ordered pulling Mallika with her.

"Hoga ho to Chalo Ghar" Dau sighed 

"Chalo," Mom said 

I and Dau opened the door as quickly as possible and pushed the ladies inside the car as soon as possible. We cant guarantee about them!
