TRIS

Waking up to Stitches by Shawn Mendes, I rub my eyes and walk into my bathroom to take a shower.

When I'm done, I grab a towel to wrap around my body and another to wrap around my hair.

Walking into my closet, I pick out a striped t-shirt, ripped skinny jeans, and my white-ish high top converse. After I get dressed, I throw on a few gold rings, a couple Pura Vida bracelets, and a gold circle necklace. For makeup I just put on mascara and a tinted lip balm, and then I blow dry my damp hair.

I grab my phone and backpack and walk downstairs. I walk in the kitchen and see mom cooking breakfast.

"Morning sunshine," my mom says.

"Morning Mom."

"Listen, tonight your father invited our neighbors over for dinner. So after practice you need to come home and not go hang out with your friends, okay?"

"Okay. Which neighbors?"

"Your boyfriend and his father," she responds, and my heart leaps. She hands me a plate with eggs, hash browns, and bacon and I finish it within ten minutes.

"You should probably get to school," Mom comments as I put my dishes in the sink.

"Yeah, I'm just waiting on Tobias to pick me up."

"Tobias?" she questions, pouring herself more coffee.

"Yeah, Four's just a nickname. He's always been number four for football and baseball."

"Oh," is all she says.

I hear a knock on the door and go to answer it.

I open the door to find Tobias with a bouquet of red roses, white lilies, and white daisies.

"Awwwww babe! You didn't have to do that!"

"What? I had to get the most beautiful flowers for the most beautiful girlfriend," he says and hands me the flowers.

"You're the sweetest!" I laugh, wrapping my arms around his neck. "I'm gonna go put these in a vase."

I walk into the kitchen, put down the flowers carefully, grab a vase and fill it with water, and then put the flowers in the vase.

Mom walks in and eyes the flowers.

"Where'd you get those?"

"Tobias," I answer simply.

"I can put those in your room if you want. You guys should probably get going if you don't want to be late."

"Kay, thanks mom!" I say and grab my backpack and my phone and walk out to Tobias's car with him.

We drive to school and sing on the way there.

A/N: Hi! So, last night, my brother had a basketball game and his team had the win in the palm of their hands but in the final 30 seconds, they missed a couple shots and they ended up losing by 2. That was the last time that my brother was going to play against their school's rivals. And he has his last high school basketball game ever on Friday.
On another note, I have a field trip tomorrow and it's to like a water park type thing, and it's going to be a lot of fun.
