We got back from Disneyland on Saturday and today is the first day back at school.
The morning passes in its usual boring blur.
It's lunch now, and it's uneventful until the cafeteria door opens; revealing the three people I hate most in the world.
I shrink in my chair ignoring the confused looks from my friends. But it's too late, they've already seen me.
I look down at my half-eaten sandwich. I don't pay attention to anyone or anything besides the three pairs of footsteps coming my way.
"Beatrice," I hear the coldest and cruelest voice in the entire world say.
I turn around in my seat to face them. "Peter, Al, and Drew. Thought I'd never see your faces again."
