(Josh's POV)
The one thing I didn't want to happen happened...
Of course the one day I wanted everything to be perfect, he had to take her on a date here.
Out of all places, why this restaurant, why now, why just everything..
I make eye contact with Morgan, but quickly change my focus
(Mad's POV)
This was something I definitely didn't think would happen today, but honestly, we all live in a small area, so we are bound see them at one point, but I was hoping it wasn't going to be today!
I know that Josh has made Morgan and Daniel, and I can tell that his heart rate has risen!
I don't really know what do to in the moment, because I never met the girl!
I try to figure out if there was a way to comfort him, but not make him feel uncomfortable , so I decided that the best way to do that was to just give his hand a squeeze, to let him know that I am here for him.
I don't really know if seeing her will change his mood about being here, I mean I hope it doesn't but who knows!
The waiter seats us at our table, thankfully completely outside of sight from Morgan and Daniel!
"So, what are you going to have" Josh asks me
I don't really know if I should ask if he wants to go to another restaurant because I know he wanted to take me here, I think I'll will just make sure that he's okay!
Hopefully knowing that he is okay will make me feel better!
"Probably water, I have to teach tomorrow afternoon, so I really shouldn't have alcohol, what about yourself" I ask
"Yeah, I can't drink cuz of the season, so probably a Diet Coke" he says
"Can you not drink during the season" I ask him
I had always thought that AFL players would be able to drink and eat really whatever they wanted, but I guess you learn something new everyday!
"Well, I mean you can, but it's looked down upon, unless it for a good reason, like a friends last game or something" he tells me and we continue looking at the menu to figure out what we should eat
The waiter comes back and we order our drinks and food. I ended up chasing a salad, because I know if I eat something greasy, I will feel like crap teaching. Josh orders a steak sandwich and the waiter goes away to pur our food orders in and comes back with our drinks!
"I dont really want to kill the mood, but are we gonna talk about who we saw coming here" I say but not confidently!
"Uh, I dont know, it did shocked me, when I saw her, but I really dont want to focus on her, I mean she moved on with him, and I think I finally found someone I can do that with as well" he says and my heart melts, I can't really think of anything to say, I'm so taken back by it!
"Sorry, if that freaked you out" Josh said
"Oh it definitely didn't freak me out" I say
"But I do mean what I said Mad's, I do want whatever this is to go somewhere" he says
"Me too" I say
And at the perfect time, the waiter comes back with our dinner and we start to eat!
We eat our dinner and just continue telling each other about our lives, which is honestly amazing!
Obviously Josh didn't have a normal childhood with his dad being an AFL player and all!
We finijshed up our food and Josh insisted that he should pay, even though I said I can cover for myself, and we headed out of the restaurant, and thankfully, Morgan and Daniel had left by the time we walked back out by them
"Thank you" Josh and I both said and we open the door, and walked towards Josh's car, and of course he takes my hand and wraps his hand around mine!
(Josh's POV)
"Josh, can we please talk" Morgan says as she comes up to Mad's and I, and of course she has Daniel right by her side!
"No, not tonight" I say and try to push past her and get to my Benz, but Daniel stops me
"Get the fuck out of my way, I'm not in the mood, to talk to both of you right now" I say, but of course Rioli's ego is too big and he doesn't move
"Oh, so you don't know why we broke up so do you, care to explain gold digger" I say and make direct eye with Morgan
"Josh, he doesn't need to know" Morgan says
"What do you mean Dunkley" Rioli says
"Oh, she used my career to jump start her influencer life, but when I got injured, she started losing followers, so she decided to set up a press conference, and I lost it and found out the true reason why she was dating me" I explain to Daniel
(Mad's POV)
My heart broke again when I heard Josh say those things to Daniel.
You could hear how much his heart broke after he found about about Morgan!
"I think we should go, Ri" Morgan says as she tries to take Daniel's hand
"You go to your place, I'm gonna get Shai to pick me up" He says as he takes a step back from her
"Baby, Josh doesn't know what he's talking about, I never did any of those things" Morgan says and again tries to get Daniel in her touch, but he doesn't let her
"No" Daniel says
"Ugh fine, much help bitch" Morgan says as she looks me dead in the eyes
"This is your problem girly, you brought it up on yourself" I say defending myself
"I knew it, you are a bitch, such a downgrade, Dunkley" Morgan continues on
"You need to fucking leave, she is more of a woman than you will ever be" Josh says in my defence
"Oh please, look at her" Morgan says looking me up and down
"Don't you ever talk about my girlfriend in that way" Josh shouts, and point his finger in her face

Well, this is definitely working out the way I wanted to
I decide not to say anything to that, because Josh is on a roll and I don't want to mess anything up
"Oh, you moved on quick" Morgan says
"Oh cuz you can fucking talk, you two started dating like a week after we broke up, we're leaving" Josh practically shouts and we get into his car before Morgan can even process what jus happened!

Hopefully there should be an update soon, but Idk cuz I'm going on vacation on Friday...
