I sat there on the bed for a moment, eyes squinted, thinking hard. I than exhaled hard before grabbing the room key and running out the door. I took a few seconds before deciding taking the stairs would let me make it to Tyler before Jamie. Quickly I began running down the flight to the second floor. I had remembered that they were in room 101 which was closer to the stairwell than the elevators.

It wasn't long before I spotted the room and ran for it. I turned the knob without a knock "Tyler?" I called out as I pushed the door open. Quickly he threw something across the room as I barged in.

"Nicola" he said awkwardly, running his hand through his hair. It seemed like Tyler did that a lot when he was nervous, but why would he be nervous right now?

"What was that?"

"What was what?" He questioned

"Okay" I said suspiciously. Our eyes locked for a second before I ran in the direction he had thrown the 'thing'. Quickly Tyler sprung up and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Let go Tyler!" I screamed and laughed all at once.

"Nicola it's nothing!" He tried convincing, pulling back on me. I had to admit, his arms were strong but I persisted on. Finally I broke free and saw what he had thrown, a pair of glasses. Bending over I picked them up "This is what you didn't want me to see?" I laughed

"Give them back!" He called like a child

"What these?" I questioned as I put them on, than stuck my tongue out at Tyler much like a little child would do. Tyler pounced and tackled me onto the bed. Giggling uncontrollably, he took me down easy. I held the glasses out and away from the both of us and watched him struggle to hold me down and reach for his gasses. But than Tyler took his hand a tickled me stomach causing me to pull my arm in to fight him off.

He snatched the glasses and than got up off of me.

"Tyler why are you hiding glasses from me?" I questioned

"No one knows I have them" he sighed

"Are they to read?"

"They're for seeing far, my eyes aren't to good" he sighed

"I don't get why you're hiding them" I said as I sat next to him on the edge of the bed where he was twirling the glasses between his fingers."Because look" He sighs as he slides them onto his face "I look ridiculous" he lets out a sigh.

"They don't look bad at all" I assure him, they complimented his face nicely. "Makes you look sophisticated" I admitted

"Really?" Tyler questioned.

"Yea..um your eyes, they're bad?" I say trying to change the top

"Yea I wear contacts" he sighs

"Do you keep that a secret to?"

"No one knows okay, my eye sight is fine" he argued back.

"Tyler so many guys in the NHL wear glasses, its-"

"Did you tell him?" Jamie barged into the room, quickly tyler stuffed the glasses under him as Jamie made his way in.

"Tell me what?" Tyler questioned. My eyes widened in disbelief at Jamie and the fact that he had just came out and said that.

"Can I talk to you outside?" I look at Tyler, quickly glancing and shooting a dirty look at Jamie.

"Um I guess" Tyler clutches the glasses in his hands and leads me out of the room.

"What is he talking about Nicola? How did the press thing go? I'd imagine-"

"It didn't go well, I lost the press pass - they wouldn't even let me into the press box and than I got kicked out" I began crying once more "Ty I'm so sorry, I screwed up everything"

"No no, Nicola it's okay" he assured me
"It's fine really, it was just a mixup. You can really start tomorrow when we play the leafs, I'll get you another pass" He than pulls me into his chest. His muscular body wraps around my small scrawny one and squeezes tight.

"I told you he would understand" Jamie says. I turn around to see him standing there, his beanie pulled low and his massive hands stuffed in his tiny front jean pockets.

"You shut up" I joked lightly.
