Your POV
I sit on the jet, looking at my phone, seeing that Wanda has texted me 10 times and called me 4.
W-are you alright?
W-I saw the news.
W-Is everyone safe? Was it really Bucky? We finally found him?
W-Y/N I'm getting worried.
W-Please pick up, I'm scared.
W-I can still feel that you're alive so you better have a good reason as to why you aren't responding.
W-Okay there's explosions happening and you are not answering me at all but you aren't dead??
W-I swear Y/N Stark you better be lying in a ditch somewhere as a reason for not answering.
W-Baby please
W-I love you.
"Fuck," I whisper as I start fumbling to text her back.
"She's pissed you didn't answer her, huh?" Tony asks from the co-pilot seat beside Natasha. She glances back at me briefly, smirking in mockery.
"I wouldn't have done that," she says cockily, only making me roll my eyes.
"Nat-" "Oh please, take a joke. Plus, she's probably worried because there were several explosions and with you not answering she most likely thinks you're dead. Might wanna tell her you're not before she blasts you into another dimension."
Okay. She has a point.
"Right, doing that as we speak. Can we make this thing go any faster? I need to make it up to my angry Sokovian girlfriend before she turns into my angry Sokovian ex-girlfriend."
Tony just laughs and pats my shoulder, "you'll be spending plenty of time with her at the compound. As a matter of fact, I need you to actually be there with her and Vision tonight. Do not let her leave."
Frowning, I turn to look at him and say, "what? Why can't she leave?"
He sighs and shrugs, "Well with the Accords, considering she has yet to sign them and probably never will, Wanda is a threat to the government. Meaning that they are going to be scared of her. Come on, Y/N. You and I both know how powerful she is, more so than she even knows. If she leaves, people will be scared of her. What if something goes wrong? What if she hurts someone?"
Scoffing in annoyance, I stand up and glare down at him.
"She would never hurt someone. This is Wanda we are talking about."
"Exactly, this is Wanda. And she just took out an entire building in Lagos by herself."
I grab his throat and super speed us to the wall, lifting him against it.
"WOAH! Y/N, calm down!" Rhodey and Nat shout. Vision watches on in observation, obviously not knowing what to do or say.
"She didn't mean to do that. She lost control! Her emotions sometimes they-" "They control her?" He whispers through choked breaths.
Nat is now at my side, hand around my arm, gently tugging at me to look at her. When I do her eyes are soft and understanding.
"I know you want to protect her but...just hear him out, okay? Please."
It takes a few moments before I can actually relax and allow myself to hear out my jackass of a brother.
"They are out for your little witch. They see her as the biggest threat, they know she's the most powerful out of all of us and they want her locked up. She has one more little slip up and she's gone for good, locked up somewhere in a prison like a villain. We keep her at the compound until all of this stuff blows over, Vision is assigned to do that, but I also want you there so it seems less like a babysitting job. I don't want to see anything bad happen to her alright? Please. I'm trying to protect her."
