"I will make you remember, Herrera." -She smiled sideways and I knew at that moment that it was time to run and hide. He knew I would do this, so he was not surprised when I ran towards our room. It was good to be back, at home ... with him.

Robert woke up the next day around 7:00 am. The weather outside was so inviting to lie on the bed ... Andy was sleeping for the first time in a long time so peacefully in his arms, he didn't want to wake her up so he spent another 10 minutes admiring her beauty. How he missed her ...
Carefully, he moved her out of his embrace and went down to make coffee. He took a tray with cereal (Andy's favorites), juice and fruit, as she needed to eat well. Thing that hadn't been happening for a long time. When he returned to the room, he saw that his wife was still sleeping. Robert felt a little afraid to wake her up, but he needed to do it because the shift was going to start soon and they needed to prepare.
"Good morning beautiful." - he said giving kisses on her face- "I brought you coffee. Wake up."
"Mmnnhh ... Really, is it time? So long that I didn't sleep well." -Andy felt that he needed a few more hours of rest to make up for the exhaustion that had accumulated in his body during that period.
"Unfortunately we have to wake up now, because we have to be at the station soon."
"I missed being awake like this and I miss this wonderful coffee. Thank you." -Andy declared giving a smile to her husband in front of him. It was almost unbelievable that they were there, together and well. They felt refreshed, happy, as if the world outside did not exist and it was just the two of them.
"Hey. And you didn't miss me?" -Robert said making a dog face, which drew a light laugh from his wife.
"From you, more than you can imagine."
"Everything for my girl." -He pecked her with a smile from ear to ear.
"For me, I would spend the whole day in that bed lying with you." -For the first time in a long time, Andy didn't feel like going to work.
"Well. You're the captain. Tell them you're going to take the day off." -he suggested even though she knew she wouldn't do that. Andy is very committed, which makes his admiration for her grow more and more.
"Even if I wanted to do that, I can't. I have to be an example for my team. Don't you think, Probie?"
"For sure, captain."
"So, before I can be an example to anyone, I have to be myself. I'm going to the bathroom." -Andy got out of bed in a pajama that covered almost nothing, leaving little to Robert's imagination.
"Can't you just stay here?" -Robert thought that giving his seductive smile would work.
"You can't use a smile in situations like this." -Andy appeared at the bathroom door with the toothbrush still in his mouth.
"I can't help it. It's an automatic thing."
"It's certainly not automatic. Can you see if any messages came from the police department on my cell phone? I have to give Miller news about the championship before he goes to the police station for answers himself."
"Of course." -He took out her cell phone and saw that there was a notification on his screen- "I think you're going to have good news for him today. They sent an email with the rules and dates."
"Excellent." -He turned and went back into the bathroom. A few minutes later Andy came out of the bathroom, already dressed in his uniform, with only the buttons on his shirt and his shoes missing.
