"Whatchu want?" He asked.
"Im looking." I whispered as I leaned on him.
He smacked his lips, "Two cheeseburger combos please."
"Drinks?" The cashier asked.
He looked at me to answer.
"Uhhh."
"Two cups." He smiled as I shook my head laughing.
"Two cups?" She asked.
"Yes ma'am." Amanté replied back.
"Okay." She said grabbing the two cups then handing them to us, "Will that be all?"
We both shook our heads.
"Your total will be $11.3." She smiled as she put her hand out for Amante's card.
Shortly after she handed Amanté his card back as I signed the receipt for them and then kept the one for us with the order number on it.
"We outside." Amanté told her. —
"Igh so now I can talk to you about Joy."
I shook my head as I sat in front of him.
"So me and Joy go way back."
"Oh lawd." I said with my straw on the side of my mouth.
He laughed, "Listtennn."

"Alright so we been cool since 6th grade, that was my homegirl for real but then we fell off, so 8th grade came and her mom died so we became real close since I was always there to help her."
