"Total is $130.08." I smiled then tried not to laugh at the shock on the ladies face.
"I thought it was buy one get one free?" She said looking around.
"I'll give you a discount." I whispered. "I'll cover the rest."
She shook her head smiling.
"Totalll is $100.00."
"Oh wow, thank you so much."
"You're welcome." I said bagging up the things she bought, "Have a nice day."
"You too sweetie!!" She smiled.
After I ringed her up me and my coworker switched spots so now I went over to stock up on some things.
"So I said fuck you and yo baby momma cause i'm done." I heard a girl say on the phone.
I quietly laughed as I walked passed her. "Oh hell." I mumbled hiding behind something by bending down and acting like I was doing something.
"I saw yo ass."
I stood up covering my laugh.
"Wassup?" I walked away with him behind me.
"I came to say sorry."
"Mhm."
"For making you feel some typa way the other day."
"Yea." I said putting soaps on the shelf aggressively.
He pulled me by my hips to turn me around, "Chris chillll."

I put my number in his phone then handed it back, "Don't be on no petty shit cause you know I be around my nigga."

"I GOT IT!" I said hearing the doorbell ring as I put the broom down. "Oye amigo, no sabía que vendrías." I said opening the door.
