Jean x reader

Jean had been staying close to y/n ever since he saw Reiner and his group. Jean knew that if Reiner could, he would get back with y/n. 

"Why so clingy?" Asked y/n

"Can I not be next to you?" Asked Jean

"Being a little odd, but you do you" Said y/n

"So, Ymir. What're you gonna do? You and Historia have been together for like, 2 years now" Said y/n

"I dunno. Its 2 days away, I don't think that I should be worrying about that, right now" Said Ymir

"What are you worrying about?" Asked Historia, joining the conversation

"Nothing." Said Ymir, Historia looked at y/n

"Nothing" Said y/n

"Jean, you've been around y/n the whole day. You're starting to freak me out a bit" Said Ymir

"Me? Freaking you out? Yeah, okay" Said Jean, he walked away

"Hey, Armin. Did you invite Reiner?" Asked Jean

"No. He's here?" Asked Armin, he looked around

"You didn't see him?" Asked Jean

"No, sorry about that though. I should've known they'd be here" Said Armin

"I'm just a little worried" Said Jean

"Why?"

"Reiner just intimidates me, y'know?" Asked Jean

"Not really. I don't exactly see anything intimidating about Reiner" Said Armin. Reiner intimidated Jean quite a bit, Jean was taller but that didn't help. Maybe it was the fact that y/n was probably happier with Reiner, or that they didn't have that enemies to lovers relationship. Reiner was also smoother when talking to females from what Jean saw. But Jean definitely knew that he was better looking than Reiner. 

"Well, are you gonna tell Reiner about you and y/n?" Asked Armin

"I already told him too. Did he chicken out already?" Asked Levi

"I'll tell him for you!" Volunteered Hange

"No, I've got it. It'll make me seem like a coward if I don't" Said Jean

"You'd better do it quick. Reiner won't hesitate to talk to y/n" Said Levi

"I know, do you always have to say that." Said Jean, he walked away

"I don't recall Levi saying that" Said Hange

"He's just stressed, thats all. Give him some time and the brat will finally act up" Said Levi, everyone agreed
