Jean x reader

Y/n was at Hammonds Hunger, Jean was not yet there, he had gone back to his cabin at some time last night while y/n was sleeping. 

"So, Y/n, what've you been up to?" Said Reiner, approaching y/n seductively

"Uhm, hi?" Said y/n, she didn't know what to do

"Hey, Reiner" Said Jean, he sat down

"Excuse me, but I was talking to y/n. What're you doing with her anyways?" Asked Reiner

"I'm dating y/n" Said Jean coolly, Reiner looked at y/n, "Hey, eyes over here." Said Jean

"Just wait 'till you find out what it actually takes to date y/n. You and her are just a playdate." Said Reiner, then he walked away

"Thanks, Jean. I was starting to panic" Said y/n

"Yeah, I could tell" Said Jean, y/n smacked his arm

"Yeah right" Said y/n, Jean chuckled then it turned into a laugh

"I'm gonna go wake up Connie and Sasha now" Said Jean, he kissed y/n on the cheek and left to Connie and Sasha's cabin

"Hey, y/n" Said Armin

"Good morning" Said y/n

"I can't believe tomorrow is our last day" Said Armin

"Me too. Its going by really fast" Said y/n, Hitch sat down on y/ns other side

"Reiner came by, I saw" Said Hitch

"Yeah, Jean helped me out with him" Said y/n

"That's surprising. I though you hated each other, especially because Jean said he was single last night" Said Hitch, she walked away after that. Y/n and Armins face dropped after Hitch said that

"Did I hear that correctly?" Asked Armin

"I think so" Said y/n

"Sasha and Connie will not wake up for the life of them" Said Jean as he sat down

"I am so done with you, Jean. Like I said last time, I'm only a trophy to you, but I'm not even enough for you if you went to Hitch's room last night. Why don't you tell her you're actually single this time, you lying horseface. We're done" Said y/n, she got up and left quickly, Armin chased after her. Jean looked around the place for Hitch, she starred at the door at grinned as y/n left, he then looked at Reiner, who did the same. It all clicked in his mind; Hitch must've told Reiner and Reiner must've made a deal with Hitch if Y/n and Jean broke up. It seemed a little far-fetched but it was still there in Jeans mind.

Jean was back in his cabin, he had been there the whole day, though the day wasn't over, it was 4 pm. He didn't want to go or do anything after y/n and him broke up, Marco and Connie were there. 

"It was all Hitch's fault. The only time her and I saw each other last night was when I left, but I didn't hookup with her, or tell her I was single. I told her I was dating y/n when she asked what I wanted at the door, and I was going to prove to y/n that she wasn't just a trophy to me, like she was to Reiner. Once again, she's left broken" Said Jean

"An apology always works, trust me. It needs to be really good, and from the heart. Purely from the heart" Said Connie

"I think they just need some time. Both you and y/n just need some time from each other. Wait until the wounds aren't fresh, then tell her the truth about what Hitch said" Said Marco 

"She would never believe me" Said Jean

"C'mon, how would you know? You haven't even tried yet." Said Connie

"Just take your time for now." Said Marco

Jean had gotten what he wanted all along; Y/n Porter. But he lost her too quickly all because of a lie Hitch told, probably for money. Now there was an open door to y/n that everyone could get too, Even Hange if they desired to. 

"How long does a wound take to heal?" Asked Jean

"Don't think about that right now, take some time to yourself until you've fully recovered. Don't think about y/n" Said Marco

Jean took a deep breath and turned over to his side. 

"If only I could explain"
