Chapter 15 - Fake Names And Annoying Teachers

"So, what class do you have next?" Hannah asked, and I shrugged.

"I would take it out of my bag and look, but I have these." I raised my crutches slightly, and Hannah started laughing.

"What?" I asked.

"I just find it funny how you beat Jessica in a fight even with crutches, Embarrassing for her really." Hannah explained, and Ava and I nodded in agreement.

"Wait, can one of you guys take my timetable out of my bag? I want to see what class I have, because really I'm just following you guys." I admitted, and they laughed.

"So, if you were supposed to go Biology, and we were going Maths . . ." Ava trailed off and I shrugged, making them laugh again.

"Okay then, let us see what class you have." Hannah said, and unzipped my bag, bringing out my time-table.

"You have Art, which is that way." She pointed in the opposite direction, grinning. I sighed and slowly turned around, grumbling under my breath.

"Miss Williams, am I correct?" My art teacher said when I walked in.

"Yup."

"You are," He looked at his watch. "6 minutes and 21 seconds late. What is your excuse?" I gave him my, 'are you kidding me look', which he ignored.

Rude.

"I got lost." I said bluntly. He sighed and shook his head, handing me a slip.

"Meet me after school. We can talk about it then." He said, and I snatched it, giving him a dirty look and hobbling to a seat.

"Where do you think you're going?" I heard him call out, and I slowly exhaled, turning around slowly to face him.

"Mars." I replied sarcastically.

"I don't appreciate your sarcasm, Miss Williams."

"Good for you, Sir."

We had a little stare down, none of us budging. Then he looked away and pointed at a desk with two seats.

"Sit over there."

"Will do." I just had to have the last word!

Anyway, I went to my seat and sat in the one next to the window; hoping no-one was going to sit next to me.

"Okay class, since it's a new term, I want to review everything we've learnt. First, we're going to start with self-portraits. I'll hand out pieces of paper and pencils for everyone in a moment." The teacher announced.

After about 10 minutes, everyone was drawing their portraits, well, I was trying to draw one, when the door burst open.

Everyone immediately looked up.

There was a guy at the door, with brown hair, and dark green eyes. He looked familiar.

"Sorry I'm late, Sir." He mumbled, and the teacher glanced at him.

"15 minutes." He said with raised eyebrows, looking at his watch.

"That's the earliest you've come to class, Mr Mont. Go and sit next to Miss Williams." He said, pointing at me, and my eyes widened.

"Sir, there's an extra seat over there." I said hurriedly.

"Good to know, Miss Williams." He replied, and I scowled, looking back down at my work as the guy approached me.
