I stared at the ceiling all night. I couldn't sleep the whole night, it was so hard to sleep knowing the Dr. Connors is out there, I have to stop him before I leave tomorrow. I get up slowly trying not to wake Imane up. I successfully manage to stand and head to the bathroom. I start to remove the bandages. When I fully removed them I still saw the claw marks.
Peter: What the hell?
Usually by now my wounds would have been healed. Well I didn't bother with it and headed back into the room. My suit was on the ground, I pick it up and inspect it. It was so beat up. I began to fix and stitch it back up.
About an hour later Imane woke up.
Imane: Morning baby.
Peter: Morning.
Imane: How are you?
Peter: I'm fine. Just feel a little slow.
Imane: Why is that?
Peter: Well....
I take off my shirt and show her that my wounds haven't healed yet.
Imane: Ok. What about it?
Peter: Usually by now my wounds would be fully healed.
Imane: Mabey just let it heal normally.
Peter: Yeah Your probably right.
I proceed to put my shirt back on.
Imane: I don't think I said to put your shirt back on tho.
I blush heavily and she giggles and hugs me.
I hug her closer and tightly.
Peter: Ok well I gotta go.
Imane: We're to?
Peter: Find, Dr. Connors before he hurts anyone else.
Imane: Ok but pls be careful ok.
Peter: Yep.
She gives me a kiss and walk back into the bedroom.
I put my suit on and start my hunt for a wild Lizard.
(Imane POV)
I went back to sleep for a while but decided to just get up. I went to check on Rae to see what she was up too.
Imane: Hey Rae.
Rae: Hi Poki, everything ok?
Imane: Yeah, just bored at the moment.
Rae: Yeah me too. Where's Pete?
Imane: He left to go look for that lizard thing.
Rae: Ohh, ok.
Imane: So have you talked to Sykkuno yet?
Rae: About?
Imane: That you like him.
She opens her eyes wide and in shock.
Rae: Peter told you!
Imane: No, i just knew you had a little crush on him. Your not that good at hiding it.
Rae: Wow, is it really that noticeable?
I shook my head.
Rae: Ok listen, you can't tell Sykkuno anything, ok?
Imane: You've got my word, but I really think you should talk to him, you know.
Rae: Idk, what if he freaks out and decides to not talk to me anymore?
