I can't wait to tell Hermione. Hermione...Oh bleep. I forgot about class. I don't even know where I am. Or what class the Gryffindors were in. Ummm... Oh yeah! I had my schedule! I dismissed my awesome armour and took it out of my pocket. It said that after DADA we had History of Magic. Sounded fun! (Sarcasm) I didn't have the foggiest idea where I was, nor where the History of magic class was. I needed a map...

Then I spotted a cabinet in the corner where a lot of important looking documents were. I walked over to them, and drew out a pocket sized map, with a magical marker of where you were. I think I was getting the hang of this Room. I ask for something, and It gave it. Cool. It was still worth being polite to this room though.  I bet it could summon a boulder above my head if it wanted.

"Umm, can you please give me a way out near History of Magic?" I called into the empty room.

Immediately I spotted a passageway in the corner.

"Thank you."

I strode along the passage, consulting the map as I went. It folded out quite large, and was quite ordinary, apart from the marker, a golden arrow which pointed to a separate square, on which was written 'The Room of Requirement' I looked again at the map, and saw the marker had moved to near to the classroom labeled 'History of Magic' I just had to walk around the corner, and I would be there!

I spotted a door ahead. I stepped into a corridor. Taking a deep breath, I walked around the corner and slipped inside the doorway there, preparing for a scolding. The teacher, who was very pale and floated above the ground, didn't even glance at me. But others did. I slipped into a seat near the back, between Hermione, who was frantically taking notes, and Harry and Ron, who had been bored, but now was looking at me attentively.

"What happened, Jane?"

The voice was Harry's.

"Yeah, why did you run out like that when the Death Eater appeared?" Ron chimed in.

"Excuse me?"

"Death Eaters were His followers. They dressed up in the cloaks and masks. But why did you run?" Harry again.

"Well, if you had seen... On second thoughts, I saw MY dad being killed by a man dressed like that when the Dementor.. You know... so it freaked me out. I just ran. Instinct I guess. I couldn't fight it, so I fled."

Harry seemed to understand, but Ron still looked confused.

Hermione shot me a look, and I said "Tell you later."

"You'd better."

After some transfiguration, Hermione and I got the chance to talk. After all the others were asleep, Hermione shook me awake.

"So?"

"I found this armour..." The whole tale spilled out of me. Hermione was a good listener.

"Can you show me this armour?"

I nodded, and thought Armour. The molten metal swirled across my vision, and then I was clad in silver, with runes glowing red. Hermione was very analytical about it, immediately asking questions.

"What happens when you become a dragon?"

"Umm I don't know."

"Can you make it disappear?"

"Yes"

I showed her.

"Did you feel a compulsion drawing you toward the armour?"

"Yes, I did."

"Was the armour exactly the way it is now?"

"No, it was dragon armour, and then when I touched it, it transformed into human. The runes were gold, but they changed to red on my touch."

"Well. That's interesting. That is very interesting. What-"

"Hermione. What is so interesting?"

"Well, it appears that you're ability is the armour. I mean, the ability to summon it, and that is rare. Very rare. It is called Spirit Armour, and only certain Elders have it. Those who do... Well, their very important."

"How do you know all this?"

She blushed.

"Well, after you showed me, I.. sort of.. read all the books the library has on Elders."

"The Libary has books on Elders?"

"If you know where to find them."

"Will you show me?"

"Sure!"

"We can't keep doing this at night though... I'm getting exhausted."

She thought. "Hmmm. I know a way... but how about we go to the library after lessons tomorrow. Say we're studying for a test."

I nodded. "That could work. But I want to go back to the Room, to train."

"How about you wake up early?" She shrugged.

"That could work."

I'm trying hard to make the chapters longer, though I have no promises.

Target: 2750 reads!

You are filling these targets so quickly!

Now my lil' bro is at school too. But I still have to wake up 2hrs earlier than him. Grrr.
