I woke up on the morning of the 1st of September with a feeling of nervous dread. Today I was going to Hogwarts. Today I would be Sorted. I dressed in a T-shirt and jeans, easy to move about in. Not that I was expecting trouble, but you can never be too careful, and Harry had told me about this boy, Dreco Melfay or something, that would inevitably cause trouble.

I went into the Leaky Calderon, and, ignoring the frantic rush about of Mrs Weasly, who was still not convinced that I was not a long lost cousin or something, I sat down and had breakfast. I had become fast friends with the Weasly family (with the exception of Percy) along the week, and the twins still continued to amuse me with their practical jokes.

Mrs Weasly bustled over to where I was sitting, and said "Is everything OK, dear?"

I smiled uneasily up at her "Yeah, but I guess I'm a bit worried about how I will get to Kings Cross."

"Oh, that's easy. You'll come with us, of course. You didn't think we were going to leave you behind, did you?"

I felt relief flood me, and I smiled, for real this time. "Thank you!"

"Oh, it's nothing dear. It already feels like your part of the family, anyway. Now, are you sure that you've got everything?"

"Yep. All packed and ready. I'll go and get my trunk down."

I went up the stairs, when suddenly two red-headed demons whirled up behind me and blocked my passage.

"You can't pass without the password." Fred told me.

"Why not?"

"Because we say so, and we're the ones blocking the way." said George.

I sighed. "So you are. Is it... Slytherin?

"No"

"Snake"

"Nope"

"Lion"

"Negative"

"Eagle?"

"Nooooo"

"Ravenclaw!"

"No way."

I tapped my chin in thought."Hmmmmm......  Is it.... Gryffindor!"

George nodded solomly and stepped aside. "You may pass."

I rolled my eyes. "Thank you."

I hurried upstairs, grabbed my trunk and clomped down to rejoin the Weaslys.
