Here's another chapter.
Hope you like it.

—Tori's POV—

After Sikowitz's class I headed to my locker to grab my stuff for my next classes. I've got my normal classes, yaknow, English, Math and Science. I get all my note books and as I'm getting my pencil pouch I feel a pair of eyes on me. I want to turn around, hoping it's Jade.

I then hear a series of footsteps coming towards me. Then a throat clears. Yep. Jade.

I turn around.

"Hey Jade. What's up?" I give her a small smile.

"Just wanted to say hey before classes." She looks around. It seems that a lot of the other students were already on to their next classes.

"I guess we should get going. Bye babe." I whisper the last part so only she can hear.

Then she did what I expected.

"Bye Vega." She turns on her heal and heads to her next class, bag swung over her shoulder, swinging her hips.

I watch as she struts away, obviously knowing that I was watching her. I sigh and close my locker. It's going to be a while till I get to see her again at lunch. Hopefully it goes quick.

——————————————————

Just as I had hoped the rest of my classes went by in a blur and it was now lunch time. The tri-tone bell went off and I made my way to my locker to put my stuff up and grab some money for lunch.

As I get to my locker I see that everyone is already out. Guess I'm a little slow today. I do see Jade at her locker. She doesn't seem normal. She's just standing there staring into her locker. I finish putting my stuff away and shove a 10 in my back pocket.

I walk over to Jade and make sure to go slow as not to startle her. I make it to her locker soon and stand there for a moment.

"I know you're there Vega."

She closes her locker and I finally see her face. I can see the remnants of dried tears. Her eyes are a little red, but it's not very noticeable. She turns to me. I can now see the anger in her eyes as well.

A moment of silence passes between us. I finally decide to speak.

"Hey. Let's talk." I reach up and brush a slight, fresh tear off her cheek.

She nods and we head to the janitor's closet. I close the door and lock it.

She leans her head on my chest and I run my fingers through her hair. Soon enough her breathing slows and she lifts her head. We look into each other's eyes for a few minutes until I finally break the silence.

"Baby, tell me what's wrong."

Jade stands there for a minute, running her hand through her hair. She sighs and then proceeds to speak.

"I can't do this."

I grew more worried.

"Do what?"

She moves closer to me.

"Hide us." She gestures between us.

"We don't have to. I just didn't think you were ready to let other people know."

"I thought about it and I don't want to keep us a secret. Who cares what others think."

She places her hands on my hips. I bite my lip.

"Something else is bothering you. What is it? I noticed you walk in around the same time. Please tell me he didn't say or do anything to upset you."

Jade glances away for a second and then back to me. I don't think this is going to be good.
