Rylee's POV-

~5 days later~

The rays of sunshine hit my face, making me groan. I opened one eye, and slowly opened the other. I yawned and got up.

I blushed seeing Chris's naked chest on top of me.

No, it's definitely not what you're thinking.

Chris and I were watching a movie and fell asleep on the couch. That's it.

I got up and took a long shower. I dressed into Chris's sister's clothes which he gave me. I wore a white loose t-shirt and black shorts.

I walked to the kitchen and decided to make pancakes.

"Boo!"

I shrieked and turned around, holding the spatula defensively. I saw Chris laughing his ass off.

"You-you should have seen your face!" He said through his laughter.

"Ha ha, very funny," I snapped sarcastically.

"Oooh, I love pancakes," Chris said, inhaling the scent.

I chuckled. "Go and sit down."

"Yes ma'am," He replied, saluting. I laughed.

We both sat on the dining table with three pancakes each. He cut a piece and ate a bite.

"Fuck, this is good!"

I smiled thankfully and took a bite of mine.  After breakfast, Chris got ready to leave for work.

"Bye!" He replied, waving at me and then driving off.

I locked the door and plopped on the couch. I switched on the new phone Chris gave me yesterday. I dialed Kyle's number.

"Hey, it's Kyle!"

"Kyle, it's me!" I yelled, excited to talk to him.

"Rylee?!"

"The one and only."

"Whose phone are you calling from?"

"Chris."

"Who's he?"

"Just someone I'm staying with at the moment."

"What? What happened to Lucifer?"

I sighed.

"What happened?" Kyle asked again when I didn't speak up.

"He wanted to marry me," I said, unsure of his reaction.

There was silence.

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?"

I had to literally cover my ears.

"Kyle, calm down," I soothed.

I heard him take deep breaths. "He wanted to marry you?"

I nodded, but then realized it was a phone call. "Yep."

"Okay..."

"So, I ran away from him...again, and currently I am staying with Chris," I explained.

"You did the right thing by running away. I mean, has Lucifer gone mad?!"

"Probably," I muttered under my breath.

"You should come back to Sydney," Kyle suggested.

"Why?"
