The blazing California heat hit indigos back as the girl got out of her rented car looking around her new apartment complex. It was a nice place but not overly nice. The girl thought it was ridiculous to spend thousands on an apartment she planned on living alone in.
Sighing indigo grabbed her first box walking into the place. Going to the elevator, Indigo felt nervous. She was told a lot of crimes happened in this neighborhood making the girl a little uneasy but the rent was good so she took it.
Opening the door to her new living situation for at least a year the girl scoffed. She expected it to be bigger, granted she should have gotten a tour but covid was in the way. Putting the box down the girl looked around the empty place.
It had two bedrooms and one bathroom. One room would be her streaming room while the other her bedroom. Smiling a little the girl sat down knowing her mom wouldn't be here for another hour or so with the rest of her stuff.
Indigo walked to the window watching the people walking around on their phones or walking their dogs. Frowning, the girl huffed, pulling her phone out to text her friend Karl.
