Chapter 46: "I Can't Do This Anymore"

Lizzie’s P.O.V

“Hey Im Ella and this is my friend Lily” Ella said.

Something just doesn’t seem right about her...

Lily was really shy so she just waved.

They looked around 17 or 18.

“Hello” Louis said shaking their hands.

They talked for a bit.

I just hanged around in the corner with Ed.

Ella ‘accidently’ grabbed onto Niall’s arm.

I swear if she does that again i’m gonna snap.

“Is it just me or is Ella trying to get Niall’s attention” Ed said.

“Im glad im not the only one noticing it.” i said.

The lads left to talk to Paul about something.

Ella and Lily came over to Ed and I.

“Um hey” i said.

“Ed can we talk to Elizabeth alone? We are really big fans of hers” Emma said with a smile.

Fake....

“Um sure” Ed said.

He looked at me and I nodded.

He left and I turned towards the girls.

“Want a picture?” i asked.

“Shut it” Ella snapped.

What a great way to start a conversation...

Lily stayed back.

She looked nervous and scared.

“Why are you even dating Niall? Why are you even friends with them. They are only friends with you because they feel bad for you. You know. WIth your dad and all” Ella said.

I looked up at her with tearful eyes.

“H-how do you know” i said.

“I know everything about you. Your mom left you with your dad and took only your brother. She didn’t want you anymore so she left you behind” she said.

“Thats not true” I said.

“Your dad turned to alcohol and began abusing you.” she said.

“Stop” I said.

“You got bullied in school which made it more worse. You tried to kill yourself one day but couldn’t do it.” she said.

“Please...stop” i said louder. "Your dad kidnapped you and took you away for a couple of days. Just to hurt you. He loves seeing you in pain doesn't he?" She said.

"Stop..." i whispered.

“No. The boys are only with you because they feel bad. No one likes you with Niall. No one. Just get away from them. It would be the best for their fans” she said.

I broke down.

I couldn’t take it anymore.

“JUST STOP!” I yelled.

Ella slapped me and I hit the wall hard.

Lily looked like she was about to cry.

“What's going on here?!” Liam yelled.

I slid down the wall and crawled into a ball.

“Oh nothing. She just fell” Ella said.

“Liz are you okay” Niall said.

“Shes fine! She just tripped and hit the wall” Ella said.

“No she didn't!” Lily yelled.

I looked up at her.

“You tortured her and slapped her” Lily yelled.

Paul grabbed Ella.

Ella was screaming and squirming around in Pauls arms but she left.

“Im so sorry. I wanted to stop her but if I did then she would hurt me” Lily said.

“Its fine” i said. Lily walked away.

“What happened?” Niall said.

All the lads were staring at me now.

I stood up.

“I can’t do this anymore” i whispered crying harder.

“Can’t do what” Niall said worriedly.

“This!” i said motioning to Niall and I.

“What do you mean” Niall said.

He was starting to get tears in his eyes.

“The fans. They don’t want us together. It hurts me to see all of the hate im getting just for being your friends. But when Im your girlfriend....The hate is much worse.” i said.

“Elizabeth. Dont do this” Niall said grabbing my hand.

I pulled it out of his reach.

"You have no idea....What kind of hate I get....You dont understand what I am going through" I said.

"Please! Dont do this!" he begged.

“I can’t do this anymore” i whispered looking down.

He put hes finger under my chin forcing me to look into his eyes.

But I looked away.

I can’t look into his eyes.

It will just make me want to be in his arms forever.

“Niall. I can’t do this. If its what the fans want then its what they will get.” i said turning around and walking away.

“NO!” Niall yelled.

He grabbing my arm and spinned me around.

“Niall. Let me go. I can’t handle the pain anymore. Please” I begged.

I looked into his teary eyes.

“Please” I whispered.

His grip stayed the same.

“Niall. Mate. Let her go” Louis said quietly.

Niall looked at Louis.

He looked back at me with his pleading eyes.

“Please” I mouthed.

He started crying.

Nialls grip loosened and I ran for the hotel.

There you go.

Niall and I aren’t together anymore.
