POV: Normani's

I panicked as I saw my parents looking up at us. I knew what they were thinking when they saw us because of how position right now

"Oh my God" I gasped and went to walk away but Y/N pulled me back as nd threw me on the bed making me squeal but giggle at the same time

"This isn't the time to be funny Y/N/N my parents are-" I was cut off by banging on Y/N's front door

"You're scared of your parents? Aren't you 18, I'm not saying you shouldn't respect them but certain things should've stopped by now don't you think?" She asked

I never really though of it like that to be honest. I'm just thinking they're still my parents. Soon there were repeated banging on the door

"Well? What are you gonna do? Run back to mommy and daddy? Or act like a grown up?" Y/N asked as we made our way towards the door

I was trying to quickly generate the best possible option. She opened the door and immediately my father pulled me into him

"I want you to stay away from my daughter with your twisted ways" he gritted

"She's old enough to make decisions in her own. She can be around whoever she wants" Y/N answered

"Dad, please, it was just a hug" I chimed in

"You keep quiet missy" my mom addressed me

"As long as she's under my roof and living off of my stuff, she'll do as I say. Until then, she's not allowed to even glance at you" my dad said before he started pulling me with him

'I'm sorry' I mouthed to Y/N who just shook her head and close her door

"You are grounded" mom said as soon as the door to our house closee

"Mom please. I'm 18" I replied

"Didn't you just hear a word your father just say?" She fussed

"I did. But I'm not a baby anymore, I don't see you treating the twins the way you treat me" I answered truthfully

They both looked at me with wide eyes. That was the first time I've actually talked back to them. I feel proud of myself not gonna lie

"Since your oh so grown why don't you go fend for yourself" Dad said

"Wait what?...your kicking me out? Just because I gave my honest opinion?" I asked

"Yes. As it says in the bible...'children obey your parents'" he answered

"Wow dad. Just wow" I said and stomped up to my room. He really pulled the bible verse at me

Before I entered my room I yelled "It also said in the bible parents provoke not your children to wrath! Since were having a scripture battle"

With that slammed my door shut. I closed my eyes as I leaned against the door

"Wow that was intense" I heard Arielle say making me open my eyes

"Why are you in my room?" I asked her as I walked over to my bed

"I just wanted to borrow a top, Ashley and I are going to the movies with our friends" she replied and its as if dad heard because he yelled

"No one is leaving this house until Normani Kordei Hamilton apologizes!"

Arielle glared at me and I shrugged

"I guess you two are staying in cause I'm not apologizing. I didn't say anything wrong" I said

She groaned and stomped out of my room. I decided to have a nice relaxing bath while my siblings are upset and my dad's still throwing scripture shades

I was getting bored of the house, it's been almost a week. I haven't left my house since the last time. The only time I would leave my room was to get something to eat and I only do that when I know my parents aren't downstairs. Speaking of my parents, they're at camp night at church

I was in the living room watching a movie with the twins who are still upset that I caused them not to go out with their friends

I saw party lights shining in through the curtains causing curiosity to spike through me but Ashley was way ahead of me

"Y/N's having a party" she said and sat back down

I glanced at them before getting up to have a look for myself. When I did there was indeed a party going on. People were traveling to and from the house. I even saw Y/N but she wasn't alone

She had her arms wrapped around a shorter girl as her other hand held a blunt to her lips. She pulled the blunt back before leaning in to kiss the girl

I don't know why but the sight of her like that with another girl had me jealous. A thought came to mind and I jogged up to my room and headed straight to my closet

"Mani no. Your gonna get in even more trouble" Arielle said

I shrugged before pulling out an old dress before grabbing my scissors. When I was pleased with the result I freshened up before getting dressed and doing my hair along with light makeup

"Mani baby...you look goodt" Ashley hyped making

"You don't wear stuff like that and if dad was here you wouldn't even think of wearing that" Arielle said "That's too much skin"

"I know" I smirked

"Okay well have fun" the twins said as I grabbed my phone and house keys

POV: Y/N's

My on and off ex and I were standing outside when I saw the door of the house across mine open

My mouth subconsciously opened and my blunt fell out as I took in the sight of Normani.

I watched as she strutted over to my house, when she got on the lawn she winked my way before walking into the house

"Y/N/N" I heard India call out as she turned my head towards her

I then heard a lot of hollering and I knew the reason behind that. I unwrapped my hand from her and made my inside

Making my way through the sweaty bodies, I finally found Normani standing on my kitchen island with a bottle of Vodka turned to her lips

When she saw me she took the hand of one of my friends, Keith. I watched as he held her waist to help her down then she had the nerve to kiss his cheek all while looking over at me
