A/N: That's the motel room in the media

POV: Y/N's

That simple gesture made me calm down faster than a blunt could ever make me. I guess that's another sign that she's right for me

We got back to the motel and I took the groceries inside. Normani was quick to get the stuff out and start making the chicken tacos, she made me fry the fries

"Ow!" I yelled

"What!?"

"It popped me" I pouted and rubbed the area the oil splashed

"Who puts the icy fries in hot oil Y/N?"

"You said to fry them"

"Yeah when the ice melts!" She yelled then sighed "You know what? Go with TV or sumn"

"Okay mom" I mocked and she gave me this look making me just walk away

She made the meal and occasionally I would go check on her but she'd tell me to get out the kitchen. When she was finally finished, she came into the living room area and handed me a plate of food with a cup of juice before going to get hers

After eating and watching a movie we were just talking, getting to know each other a little more. While we talked I occasionally brought my joint to my lips

By this time I had showered and was just in my sports bra and a basketball shorts with my socks on. She turned to face me on the couch and I looked over at her

"I wanna try" she said after a minute of silence

"Don't you think you're moving a bit too...I don't know not you" I said and she looked at me confused

"What?"

"I mean, your sneaking out and lying to your parents to meet up with me, not that I mind but....I feel like this is a bit much"

"So your saying I'm doing too much to hang out with you?" She asked getting up

"No that's not what I meant-"

"Well that's what I'm getting"

"Do not cut me off and just listen to what I have to say"

"I don't wanna talk to you right now" she said and walked over to the bed. I outed the cigar and just watched her get under the covers

"Can you at least liste-" I started but she cut me off again

"Good night Y/N" she said dismissing me and I rolled my eyes before getting up and going over to the bed

"What?" She groaned

"Move over"

"No, go sleep on the couch"

"I'm paying for this motel so I'm gonna use what I paid for, now go over" I said and she smacked her lips before moving over to the far left before grabbing the covers and getting off the bed

I yanked the covers over to me and she fell back on the bed

"Why would you do that?" She asked glaring at me

"Because your mad at me and you haven't even listened to what I have to say"

"I'm tired" she said and got off the bed before she started for the couch but I swiftly walked over to her getting a hold of her hand and pulling her into me

"Normani loose the attitude" I gritted looking down at her

"I don't have one" she said and went to walk away

"Do not away from me"

"As far as I know, your not holding my legs so I can go wherever the hell I want" she bit back as she walked over to the couch and laid on it

I was so confused at how she's changed in the little time we've met 'I'm taking her home tomorrow bruh' I though

I got the covers and threw it beside her before getting in the bed, I turned off the lights and got under the sheets that were on the bed

POV: Normani's

After about 15 or 20 minutes of laying in the dimly lit room, thanks to the TV. I looked over at Y/N on the bed and my emotional self started crying

I don't even know why I'm crying...I guess its the fact that she's mad at me. But it's the way she said it 'I mean, your sneaking out and lying to your parents to meet up with me, not that I mind but...I feel like this is a bit much'

I felt like she was saying I'm clingy and I'm doing all this stuff to be around her

Eventually I fell asleep. When I woke up it was about 7:30 am and I realized I was now on the bed but there was no sign of Y/N. Sighing I got out of bed and started my morning routine to get ready for the day

As I walked out of the bathroom I bumped into Y/N. She mumbled a 'good morning' before walking into the bathroom. I didn't get to answer as she closed the door behind her

Since I was already dressed, I went to the kicthen to make breakfast but I saw a plate of Mac&Cheese with a cup off tea making me smile

I ate my breakfast as I waited for her to get out of the bathroom. When she did we both spoke at the same time

"I'm sorry" I rushed out while she said something I wasn't expecting

"I'm taking you home"

"Oh...okay" I said and looked down at the the bed empty plate "may I ask why?"

"Now you wanna listen?" She chuckled and walked over to get her bag

I just sat and looked at her before rolling my eyes and throwing away the plastic plate and cup. I got my bags and walked past her and to the car

She parked the car in front of Ally's house like I requested. We sat there in silence before she spoke up

"I think your dad's right"

This made me look over at her

"As in, you shouldn't be around me. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy spending time with you but last night when you asked me if you could try smoking with me, I realized that your doing stuff you would never have thought about before you met me. I really don't want you getting in trouble either. So for your sake I think it's best we don't see each other or hang out anymore" she clarified

"Okay" I managed to get out before exiting the car with my bags

I didn't bother glancing back at her, I just made my way up to Ally's door and knocked. Not long after the door opened revealing her mom and I heard Y/N drive off

"Hey Mani, I was expecting you yesterday. Come on in" Mrs. Hernández said

"I was going to come yesterday but I did a rain check, so here I am" I said forcing a smile

"Its not a problem dear. Ally's in her room" she said and walked off to the living room. I made my way to Ally's room. As soon as she saw me concern flooded her face before she rushed over to me

"Are tou alri-" she didn't get to finish as the tears just fell from my eyes
