Its been almost two weeks, I haven't been home since. I'm constantly working as means of getting more cash but also to busy myself from thing of her

It does hurt me that I told her that, but I don't want her to feel like she has to change to be around me. I'm on my way home right now because a bitch is tired

As I pulled into the drive way I saw Mr. Hamilton knocking on my front door. I got out of the car and he turned around

"Oh, Y/N there you are" he said smiling making me at him confused

'He's smiling...at me' I thought as I looked around

"Uh...hello?" I answered tightening the strap of my bag on my shoulder

"I thought you were locked away inside but anywho. I took some time out and did some thinking, I want to apologize for the way I came off the first and last time I confronted you. You know God has been showing me that I was in the wrong for how I approached you, so I wanted to make it up to you. Myself and the church are hosting a weekend of fun in the sun together, it would mean a lot to me if you joined in"

"Thanks for the offer but I don't think that's a good idea" I said honestly

"Nonesense, I figure your always working so shy don't you take the weekend off with us? The bus leaves at 7 tomorrow, we'll all meet up at the church has early in the morning"

"Sir I really appreciat-"

"Thanks Y/N it means a lot. See you bright and early tomorrow" he said and walked off

'Now I see where Normani gets cutting people off from' I thought as I shook my head and made my way inside

As I went to close the door I saw Normani standing at her door and looking over at me. I slowly closed the door and sighed

I really didn't want to go but I don't know when his crazy side is gonna chip in. I grumbled and started packing some stuff for the beach

I woke up extra early and made it to the church. When I did I saw people talking and laughing so I stayed in my car enjoying the A/C, that was until someone knocked on my window

"Hey aren't you getting on the bus?" The girl asked, she was dark skinned like Normani and very beautiful but she wasn't her

"Uh, yeah in a minute" I answered

"Well I suggested you come now because the first bus is normally the one with the youths, you don't wanna be stuck with the adults now do you?" She laughed

"I guess your right" I chuckled and got out of the car. I got my beach bag and my shades before following her to the first bus

"My name's Ryan by the way" she smiled

"I'm Y/N"

We got on the bus and to the very back I saw Normani, Ally, Lauren, Arielle and Ashley.

"You can sit with me" Ryan said

I only agreed because there were no more seats left. Not only were there no more seats but it just happened to be in front of Normani and Ally

By the look on Ally's face I knew Normani told her what happened between us

Ryan and I made small talk during the ride that was until my phone rang "Excuse me" I said before answering the face time

"Bitch! You'll never believe what happened!" Megan greeted and everyone turned to look at me

"I'm so sorry" I apologized as I rushed to retrieve my earphones

"Why you gotta answer the phone like that?" I questioned

"Cause you my bestie and I can...the fuck? Anyways oh- Hey Mani!" She yelled waving

"She can't here you and can you tone down on the yelling?"

"No. Now the tea is... you know how I've been trying to go public with rapping and stuff?"

"Yeah..."

"A bitch got booked!" She yelled again and what I wanted to say I couldn't say it a bus full of Christians so I typed it

'Stop yelling in my fucking ear before I reach through this phone and push you off that stool 🤬😤' was what I sent and she apologized

"I'm proud of you though, I know you've been working so hard. Just know that your gonna be great. I'm gonna stop for some food, talk to you later okay? I love you" I said and she said good bye before hanging up

As I did, the bus came to a stop and almost everyone got of the bus to head into the store

"So...that was your girlfriend?" Ryan asked as she walked beside me down the snacks Isle

"Nah that was my best friend. Why?"

"Oh nothing" she said and took up a few snacks.

After we got our snacks and our individual stuff we went to check out. I saw Normani and the twins in front of us and she looked back at me

It was honestly very awkward, I bet if someone were to see us they'd know it was awkward between us. The cashier cashed their stuff and they moved off. I turned to Ryan and looked in her hand

"You can put your stuff with mine" I said and she rejected "Its fine, it's not a lot really, just put it with the rest"

She sighed and placed her snacks with mine and the cashier did her thing

"You two are a cute couple" she said smiling over at us

"Oh, we aren-" Ryan cut me off

"Thank you"

I was shocked... we just met. We collected our stuff and as I went to walk off I saw Normani glaring at Ryan before walking off to the bus

We got to the hotel and it turns out Ryan and I are sharing suites. I was getting slightly annoyed because she's getting mad clingy

Normani and the wins got rhe room across from mine so this weekend should be fun

The rest of the day I locked myself away in my room, one of the reasons was to get away from Ryan but it was mainly because I didn't feel like going for a swim in front of everyone

When it was dinner time I got dressed and headed down to the dining hall. The only seat left open was in between Normani and Ryan
