POV: Third Person

Kehlani left the hosptial room to head home to her daughter after spending the whole day with Y/N

Yup, Normani has been standing outside the window all day. Luckily for her Kehlani didn't see her when she was leaving

Finally growing a pair, Normani made her way into the hospital room as quietly as she could but her heels gave it away and Y/N turned to face her

She watched silently as the dark-skinned girl made her way over to her. Now that the tube was removed from her mouth and she was breathing on her own, she could finally talk

"You look beautiful" Y/N raped out

Normani wanted nothing more than to answer but she didn't know where to start however the built up frsutration, hurt and regret finally burst making a sob leave her mouth instead

Y/N held out her arms from the sobbing girl to walk into. Normani did just that and laid her head on Y/N's chest not wanting to hurt the girl even more which lead to Y/N wrapping her arms around her lover

After her sobbing died down, Normani was seated on the chair beside the bed as a consequence of her dress being to big for both of them to fit on the bed

The nurse came and checked on Y/N before leaving once again

"I'm sorry" Normani whispered as she played with Y/N's finger

"Why are you sorry love?"

"If I had listened to you instead of walking away, you wouldn't have been in this situation. We would probably still be together and-" Y/N cut her off and caressed her cheek

"Its not your fault. It's mine, I shouldn't have cheated so I'm the one that should be apologizing"

"But still" Normani answered "I don't like seeing you like this"

It was quiet in the hospital room for a free minutes that was until Y/N broke the silence

"I don't mean to break your heart even more but..." she started but trailed off as she looked over Normani from her hair to her dress that flowed on to the ground

"I know what your gonna say and the answer is...I'm where I should be" Normani responded and Y/N gave her hand a squeeze

Without any more words being poked back and forth, Normani leaned in and placed a soft loving kiss on Y/N's lips

Not being able or wanting to fight against it, Y/N kissed back and soon the two were caught up in a passionate and sensual kiss. Y/N started to feel her member get hard and with Normani, she felt her core starting to get aroused

The older woman gently pulled Normani on top of her but the dark-skinned girl was quick to object

"I don't want to hurt you" she said and went to get off the patient but Y/N held her waist to stop her

"If you think I'm gonna let a broken leg, nose and a broken rib is gonna stop me from having some of my chocolate I haven't had in a year then your crazy" Y/N said in all seriousness

Normani looked at the girl underneath her for a while before pecking her lips and getting off. Y/N sighed as she watched Normani walk over to the door

She closed her eyes in yet another defeat but flew open when she heard a soft thud. There stood Normani in her white lingerie the was under her dress and she was in the middle of taking out her dangling diamond earrings

Normani once again initiated the kiss as she leaned in picked up from where they left off.

To Normani this was the kind of kiss that was so intoxicating her mind and body were so into it she couldn’t handle thinking about anything else.

Y/N deepened the kiss, pulling Normani on top of her so that the younger girl was straddling her like before

Soon the kiss turned sloppy kiss as the Normani raised her hips to lift Y/N's hospital gown and pull down her boxers before shifting her panties to the side, not wanting to wait for foreplay

All Normani did was smile and with that she left. Around lunch time she went back to the hospital.

She was all smiles despite the news of her not showing up to the wedding bombarded her all morning, Normani was happy that she was finally getting back on track with her lover

When she got to the room she was confused as to why so many doctors were in the room and surrounding the bed where she left Y/N

Her questions were answered when she heard

"Time of death...12:51"

"Oh my God" Normani gasped and two of the doctors rushed over to her

"No!" She yelled "She's not she dead! I just left for 2 hours! What'd you do!?"

The doctors were trying their hardest to hold her back but Normani was hurt and angry at the words she just heard. She was determined to see for herself if they were lying or telling the truth even though she was in denial

"She took a fall on the way to the rest room. We've ran some test and she..."

Normani completely zoned out as her eyes were locked on Y/N as the other doctors unplugged the heart machine

She walked further into the room and the doctors gave her some alone time. The tears never stopped flowing down her face as she looked at her pale lover

"I love you" Normani said aloud for the first time as she held the limp hand in hers
