The dimly lit bar with a classic ambient feeling. Silky smooth wooden counters, practically glistening under the lamps on the wall with granite floor that held planters of cacti and roses.
"Oh my, are we even allowed in here?!" Chuuya muttered under his breath. A fancy-dressed brunette guided him into the small yet comfy place, seating him in a crimson red seat. Dazai put the tip of his finger to hover over his mouth with a wink.
"Ah, Dazai. Good to see you here again. How's your brother been? He's out in Canada right now isn't he?" The bartender asked, a warm smile written across his face. Dazai sat down on the seat.
"Yup, he's been out there for around a year now, lots of interviews and stuff.." Dazai said, taking Chuuya's hand and guiding him to sit down beside him. He edged in closer to the redhead's ear. "Relax, this is a real diamond in the city." The brunette whispered with a sly smirk.
"How can I relax? This is our first date..." Chuuya muttered, his cheeks heating up as he looked to the side. Dazai leant back down, holding Chuuya's hands in his own.
"I'm still the person you knew when you were walking to kindergarten that one morning." Dazai said, smiling slightly. Chuuya looked over to the large selection of wine.
"W-We're too young to be drinking! We can get arrested for this!" Chuuya muttered in a whisper. Dazai shook his head.
"You need to have fun Chibi. It's not like your dad will find out." The brunette said, tapping the redhead's nose.
"Hmph....If you say so. What should I try then?" Chuuya looked at their menu. 'What even is a tempranillo?' The redhead thought to himself, squinting his eyes and biting his lower lip in embarrassment. He looked over to Dazai, his hair pulled back which revealed a piercing he'd never noticed before. The suit he wore for tonight, it was all so...Fancy. Chuuya's mind wandered over the outfit and came to some...Not so child friendly conclusions, he looked back to his menu.
"You should try something simple, like their Pinot Noir."
"Okay then."
"We're ready to order!" Dazai waved, catching the bartender's attention. "He'd like a glass of Pinot Noir. I'll have some Petite Sirah."
"Going bold as usual.." The bartender said, taking a small note of the order before grabbing the bottles from the shelf and making the drink.
"A famous author has gone here before, right?" Chuuya asked, looking around the place and realizing how familiar it was. Like some news report when they had nothing else interesting to talk about.
"Mhm. That may just be why this place has stayed in business. Though nowadays it's ever so lonely." Dazai said, resting his cheek on the table. "My brother used to visit here with some old friends of his, he's never told me about them though.."
"Have you asked?"
"Yeah, but he said it's a secret apparently. Come to think of it, I forget the name of the author that visited here before ...."
"Your drinks are ready." The bartender said, placing down two glasses with flowers in them, glowing colors that complimented the wine's taste.
"Wow...That was fast." Chuuya said, looking down to the cup, his hands wrapping around it. Dazai took a small sip of his before looking over to the other who was about to drink it casually.
"Take small sips, not big ones, Chibi." Dazai said, sighing in relief when Chuuya stopped before doing so.
"Oh, why not?" Chuuya looked at the wine, trying to see why he'd only need to take small sips.
