Looking out the window, you could see just how dark the clouds had gotten. Though rain was expected, people outside still ran into the nearest source of shelter as it began pouring. When you looked at everything, it seemed overwhelming. An eyesore to pay attention to. It seemed easier to just stop talking and seeing, to just rest your body.

Every time doctors ran into the room, I just laid there, wondering why but not caring.

I may have begun coughing up blood clots again, maybe that's why.

It wasn't uncommon for my blood pressure to drop either.

Over time, I'd become accustomed to being rushed through the hallway and into an emergency.

Yet, I guess this time seemed slightly different.

Watching birds huddle closely together for warmth and even couples doing the same as it the sky gave kisses to the ground below only for cars speeding on by to splash pedestrians.

Something felt different.

I looked down to my hands, how a clip was around my pointer finger and all sorts of plugs were attached to me.

They were shaking.

I couldn't feel my legs.

I couldn't feel anything.

I just felt a scream building up in my lungs that I tried desperately to swallow down,

.

"W-What?! Ryu woke up?!" Atsushi beamed, jumping up and down in the kitchen. It obviously caught the attention of the others, making them rush into the kitchen and leaving behind their game of Uno.

"Akutagawa woke up?" Chuuya said with a smile growing on his face.

"C-Can we go visit now?" Atsushi muttered over the phone, holding it closely and in hope only for it to turn into a frown moments later. "Oh...Okay, thank you." Atsushi said slowly before hanging up.

"What..?" Dazai asked, his own face turning into dismay.

"They said we need to wait because he needs some time to heal I guess.." Atsushi shrugged. "But," He smiled, "At least he's awake now."

"Yeah, that's great. Next, you know it, he'll be back home with us in prison." Dazai said with a sarcastic smirk.

"Ha, it's only a prison because you're here Osamu." The redhead rolled his eyes with a sigh.

"Kinky~" the brunet giggled,

"Hey-!" Chuuya spat, stepping on his foot which gained a yelp from the other.

The silver-haired one watched the two silently, laughing nervously. He felt kind of lonely, you know, the third wheel of the year right now. He really wanted to see Ryuu, it had been a couple of weeks of barely any sleep and missing his boyfriend. Missing his touch, words of affirmation, and soft kisses. He missed it all.

But, knowing he was awake now made him feel a bit better.

"Caaaaandyyyyy" A boy spoke loudly, drooling at the sight of a candy shop up ahead.

"We don't need candy Ranpo..." Poe, a shy young one, spoke as he pulled into the parking lot.

"Yes, we do! Think about it, we're going grocery shopping. Therefore we deserve a little snack y'know?"

"You never even help! You get lost and then I have to find you!" Poe rolled his eyes, though it wasn't visible through his long fluffy hair. Knowing braille has become a useful skill these days...Saving money from haircuts you know?
