I looked up when someone knocked on my door. Who would knock on my door now? They knew I was busy going over the agreement the Greenwood Alpha and I compiled. I specifically told Robert not to let anyone disturb me.

"Yes?" I couldn't keep the irritation out of my voice. All I wanted was for Kathryn to get back and for this day to be over. I needed my mate.

A white-faced Rebecca walks in with a scared looking Will coming in behind her.

Something happened.

I jolt out of the chair circling my desk stopping when I'm in front of them.

"Where is Kathryn." I lowly whisper.

"Alpha, we lost her. I don't know where she went." Will said lifting his chin, his scared eyes looking at me and then back to the ground.

Clenching my fist, I look at them. "You lost her? How do you lose your Luna?" I yell.

"Jaime...- "Rebecca starts but I cut her off. "THAT'S ALPHA TO YOU." I yell walking towards her.

"Did you do this?" I  was looking her straight in the eyes. "Is this some plot you have against me because our mating failed? Huh? Did you hand her to Richard?" I yell at her grabbing her by her arms.

Tears stream down Rebecca's face as she struggles against my strong grip. I shake her again before I yell "ANSWER ME!"

"Jamie!" I look up to see Robert standing in the door. "Let go of my sister. With all due respect Alpha, but that's not how you treat a she wolf, never mind a pack member."

I look down at Rebecca, still struggling against my arms. She was full on crying now. I let go of her with a push and she falls into Robert.

"Tell me what happened. What happened to my mate? Before I throw all of you in the dungeons." I yell.

Rebecca goes to stand by Robert and I hear Will speak up.

"Rebecca went into a new clothing store and the Luna and I went into a bookstore. I was standing by the biography section close to the entrance. She walked in further. Alpha, she never came back. I would've known If she came past me." He said swallowing hard.

Looking at Rebecca again I feel Kane pushing forward. "Did you do this?"

No!" She whisper shouts. Kathryn and I were friends. I promise you Jai...Alpha. It wasn't me. I was in another shop. How could I have taken her."

"Jamie, come on man." Robert speaks up.

They're right. I was being unreasonable. But the pain I felt was indescribable. I was about to lose control but I had to keep it together in order to find Kathryn.

"Rebecca you're dismissed. Robert, go get Sylvia. Will, take some warriors with you and go back and see if you can find anything that will lead us to the Luna." I say before walking back to my desk chair.

I sit down and take deep breathes. Kane wasn't speaking to me but I could feel his rage. He was wanting to break free and I couldn't let that happen.

After a few minutes Robert and Sylvia enters my office.

"Sylvia, Robert told you what happened to the Luna?" I ask.
