A Second Chance

Even as a jonin sensei Kakashi is still an ex ANBU and you never really leave ANBU alive so it was no surprise that he was called in for a mission, it will take only a week maybe less as he remembers the mission very well and can finish it faster and back home.

He informed the two genins that they have a break for few days, as for Naruto he was left home working on the medical project he close and wouldn't move till he gets it, so he stocks the house with anything Naruto might need then left.

The mission was a long hard four days but he manages to save a two for a little personal side mission, he misses Naruto so much in those days as he gets used to his mate close to him all the time, he just wants to get back to his home and high the little blond to his chest and fill his nose with his smell he loves the most, he wants to get him under him and please him till he passes out to Mark him as his own.

When Kakashi gets back to the village he had to go to the Hokage office even if he wants more than anything to go home and sleep cuddling his little fox.

It was late almost time to close up as he and his team reports on a well-done mission he usually Kakashi just want it to end when he felt Naruto coming to him, for a moment he thought it must be just his mind plying trick as he missed his mate so much but then no other than Naruto Uzumaki jumps through the window and land between them and the third.

Naruto was a mess, his hair messy and still in the same clothes Kakashi left him in when he left a simple T-shirt and a sort, his feet bare and he smells like he didn't path all the week and he covered in ink too, he looks pale and there heavy bags under His eyes did he sleep well or sleep at all kakashi wander.

Naruto looked confused and a little jumpy as he look around, his eyes spot Kakashi and jumped him pushing him to the floor and sit on him with a paper in hand pushing it to his face " I did it Kashi, I made it .. I did... " his words trailed off as his eyes get heavier by the second till he falls asleep over Kakashi chest feeling safe and warm.

Kakashi took the paper from those little fingers and read it before he understands what this was all about but he didn't chare with rest rather he hides the paper in his pocket giving one of his U eye smiles, the third was giving him a look but Kakashi just pretend he doesn't see it for some time but the old man is stubborn" I didn't tell him, he a rare sensor type " he explains about Naruto recognized him in his uniform and not about the paper and he not planning to say.

After some time the third cave and ask directly "what the paper about " the third narrow his eyes but Kakashi didn't seem to care " oh it's just his medical project, I didn't expect him to make it at least not this fast, medical is not his field of strength but it seems all the books and scroll I get him to come to a fruit " has smiled with proud loving lookin in his eyes " what this project about " the third narrow his eyes more, he not happy with what he hearing, Kakashi had promised to watch Naruto but he was in mission for the past few days so Naruto was all alone doing dangerous research he could have blown up the village or kill himself " don't worry Hokage sama you will find out soon enough, well if that all I will take my leave he need sleep and a bath" Kakashi didn't wait for answer picking Naruto up and left.

Kakashi gets home and to the bath first thing with Naruto still in arms both of them need a good wash they stink so much.

Naruto must have been so tired he didn't move at all as Kakashi wash him up and cleaned him properly, cleaned himself too and dry up then both to the bed, both of them was still naked feeling the warmth and letting their smell mix even more.

The next morning Naruto wake up to the beautiful smell of ramen, not any ramen but Kakashi's ramen, he all but jump out of bed and run to the kitchen to see the jonin there only in his boxer and apron, looking all delicious more than the ramen.
