Stefan's POV
I looked at Karin smiling at Elena holding this guys arm.
"Derek Lockwood...?" Elena whispered softly.
"The only and only." He smirked.
"How..." Caroline walked past me over to Karin and Derek.
"Let's just say, Karin is quiet the hider." Derek chuckled.
"Come, on inside." Karin walked past everybody as if nothing was wrong and to the kitchen. Derek followed behind her.
I looked at Elena and Caroline in confussion.
"urg, you know it's a long story." Caroline groaned putting her hands up in defense then walked in the kitchen. I trailed my eyes on Elena who folded her arms.
Flashback Ended.
I sat with Caroline and Tyler at the table during lunch. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Karin and Derek laughing by the parking lot.
"Okay look! Stop the staring." Caroline got into my view giving me a look.
"When your girlfriend breaks up, and your heartbroken but she's over there being flirty, wouldn't you think that I'm--"
"They're not like that. Look, Karin is heartbroken but she needs to.... you know not think about being sad and they way is to talk to her best friend from childhood. It's only been a couple of days. Which I don't even understand how could he suddenly show up?" Caroline groans.
I turned to Tyler raising my eyebrow.
"Derek may be my cousin but he won't hurt Karin. I promise... give him a chance Stefan." Tyler said. I sighed and nodded.
The voice header came on. "Karin Gilbert, Elena Gilbert, Caroline Forbs, Stefan Salvatore, and Tyler Lockwood Please report to the library right away. I repeat Karin Gilbert, Caroline Forbes, Elena Gilbert, Stefan Salvatore, and Tyler Lockwood please report to the library right away. Thank you."
I looked back at Caroline and Tyler.. confused.
"Let's go." Caroline grabbed her stuff and we walked to the library.
