Chapter 14 Come again?

Elena's POV

We rushed Karin to the emergency room, it's been hours and everybody came. Bonnie, Caroline, Matt, Stefan, and Damon. Jeremy was sittin on the chair with the others as I paced back in forth. I bit my thumb.

"Was it a vampire?" Caroline asked. I shook my head then shrugged.

"I don' know, all I know is that when I came home I heard something in the kitchen and found ... blood everywhere." I said.

"I heard Karin calling for my name, as soon as I got down Elena was already by her." Jeremy said putting his hand on his head.

"Why would anyone want to kill Karin?" I whispered. I crossed my arms, afraid.

Meredith came out of the emergency room walking over to me.

"Is she okay?" I asked.

"Can I talk to you and Stefan over here?" She said I nodded and Stefan and I walked over a little bit far from the others.

"What's wrong? Is Karin okay?" I asked. crossing my arms.

She sighed, "I'm sorry Elena. She's not going to make it. Not just did her artiers get cut open severial bad, she also has a head concussion her brain is bleeding interally." She said.

I shook my head. "No, she can't die. There has to be another way." I said.

"There is." She looked up at Stefan. "Vampire blood." She said.

"I'll do it. It'll help Karin. I'll do it. " Stefan said. Meredith nodded leading him into another room.

"Thank you stefan." I smiled then walked back to the others. "She's going to be okay." I smiled weakly.

A tear fell from my eyes. Damon walked over to me and hugged me.

"She's going to be okay." He whispered to me. I nodded hugging him back.

Hours Later

Karin's POV

I woke up feeling pain, I looked around... why am I in the hospital? Then it clicked. Katherine! I sat up.

"Be careful, you're still healing." Matt said. I turned to see him sitting in the chair.

"Matt? Why are you here?" I rubbed my temples.

"To help you, is it wrong for a friend to watch a friend that got sent in the hospital almost dead." He walked over and sat at the edge of the bed.

"I almost died. I almost died?" I looked up at him confused.

"But Stefan saved you. He gave you some vampire blood." He said. I felt a little relax and surprised.

"He gave me vampire blood?" I whispered to myself. "He saved me." I looked up at Matt who nodded.

"I'm supposed to take you home when you feel better." He said. I felt a memory come back to me.

"He saved me you know." I said looking at matt. He was confused.

"Yeah, with his bloo--"

"I never told you that. The night my parent's car went off the bridge. Stefan was the one that saved me." I looked at Matt.

"I didn't know that."

"I felt as if I should be with Stefan that time." I said.

"So do you feel like you owe him or something?" Matt asked.

I shook my head. "No, he just saved me too many times I should've died. Then I meet Damon, he made me glad that I was alive every single time."I smiled weakly.
