Chapter 29

It's been about a week, and I've been doing a lot better now that I have Nick and the twins to distract me. Mom had went on a trip with her friends for the past couple days, Laroi had to head to Denver for a feature, and Auz was with his dad Dominic. So it's just me, Nick, and the twins. Ondre and Liv haven't bothered to come back home, and I'm mostly glad. I didn't want to look at them, only to remind me I was an idiot for letting myself believe Tony loved me for so long. I've been staying off of social media to avoid the situation, and it's worked for the most part. I wasn't going to let myself care about other people's opinions about something that has nothing to do with them.

We were all in the living room, the twins were in their playpens falling asleep, and Nick and I were on the couch, eating sushi as we watched Tv. I was squinting at the tv, trying to make out everything on the screen when Nick laughed at me.

Y/N: What, why are you laughing?

Nick: You look like you're having a stroke

Y/N: Mhm-

Nick: Looking like the three blind mice from shrek

I shoved him as he continued laughing

Y/N: Shut up, I can't see!

He chuckled as he got up, walked to the kitchen, and came back with my glasses

Y/N: Oh, what a hero you are!

Nick: Keep talking and I'll go put them back

I pressed my lips together as he plopped down next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, then gave me my glasses

Y/N: Thank you

I put them on and smiled

Y/N: That's better

Nick: "I cAn SeE cLeArLy NoW tHe RaIn HaS gOnE"

I looked at him and we both started laughing, then the door bell rang and I groaned

Y/N: Ugh!

I got up and walked to the door, opening it and sighed

Y/N: And where in your goddamn mind would you think it would be ok to show up to MY home?

SJ: Please, I'm just here to talk

Y/N: Well, you're wasting your time because there is no way in hell I'm going to even think about looking at you-

SJ: Y/N, I just need to explain something to you. Please...?

I clenched my jaw as I sighed, then I let her in. I led her to the kitchen and Nick stood up

Nick: What the-

Y/N: It's ok. I've got it. Sit down.

She and I sat at the table, and Nick followed

Y/N: So? What was so important that you had to ruin everything... again?

Nick sat next to me and held my hand, and she smiled slightly

SJ: I just wanted to say I was sorry, and before you retaliate, he had all of us fooled. He had told me you guys broke up back in December. I didn't believe him at first until he showed me he deleted everything of you off his social media, and blocked you on everything. And I never really knew you, and I felt bad but he just lured me in. And we were together since then, but he wanted to keep it off of social media, and that should've been a red flag, but I was stupid to believe him. And I know that's not an excuse but I just felt the need to tell you

I didn't know what to say. All I could do is look at her

Nick: And what good is that going to do to her now after nearly 4 months?

SJ: I don't expect it to do anything. I just wanted to let her know because it seemed like she didn't really know much. So I just wanted to apologize. I wouldn't have done anything with him if I knew that wasn't the situation because I know you didn't deserve it and... I broke up with him last week

Now, that was a surprise, but I was done hearing about the situation for the day, so I sighed

Y/N: Thank you for telling me. I appreciate it.

SJ: I also came to tell you that he is willing to sign the papers for child support. He knows that what he did was wrong and he thinks this is the least he could do

Y/N: No, the least he can do is give me back a year and a half of my life!

She jumped and I sighed as Nick rubbed my hand

Y/N: Is that all?

She nodded

Y/N: You can leave now

She hesitated, then she showed herself out. I rubbed my face in annoyance as Nick rubbed my back
