background. in aloe's early days, she was very interested in how the cactus juice that healed tail barb stings worked. this led her to a career in science, which led her to a career in healing. aloe has seen many wars and has been a healer in all of them. she applied to work at Onyx academy to teach a new generation and because she was once a trained assassin (she took a break from healing to use non-healing things as a hired assassin to get some gold).
