Chapter 25: Sylvia the Great Chimera. Final Moments at the Village

Y/N POV

We were walking down the road to...well, we were just following Meg

Aqua:"You've been staring into the nothing for quite some time, wondering about your past school life?" Asked Aqua to Kazuma

Kazuma:"What? No, i was thinking about Yunyun's spells..."

Megumin:"Her spells?"

Kazuma:"Yeah, i thought all Crimson Demons knew many types of magic"

We stopped, then Megumin looked to the horizon over the cliff

Megumin:"I...have some influence on that"

We had our gaze on her now

Megumin:"While in school, i saved up all of my points obtained just to learn explosion magic. It was a hard way but i was determined to learn it, not having other spells to help me was hard...one day however, Komekko was in danger and i had to help her, but while i was hesitating on using my points to learn some other magic, Yunyun spent hers in intermedium one and helped her..."

We stood in silence until Kazuma spoke

Kazuma:"So she sacrificed her points so you could learn explosive magic?"

Megumin:"In short, yeah..." She sighed after that

Y/N:"What a cool friend then"

Kazuma:"In the end she got better magic too so i guess that paid off"

Aqua:"Yeah, she's strong too after all!"

Megumin:"Oi! Whose side are you in!?"

Just then, we saw an explosion on the forest

Y/N:"That's not good, is it?"

Devil King General:"Who is this woman!?" Shouted a woman form behind the army

Darkness was holding them down as we arrived with some of the Crimson Demons

Y/N:"We're here, we're here, and we brought some help"

Devil King General:"Ah i see, so your plan was to make time...for how you endured our blows it must mean you're a high level crusader...so your clumsiness was all part of your act, wasn't it?"

Darkness:"E-eh? Ah yes! It was all planned as my friends would take you down!"

I stepped to the front

Y/N:"I'll have you know that this crusader fought Vanir, another of the Devil King's generals"

Devil King General:"She fought Vanir!? Now that you mention it, they said he went to Axel and didn't return...you people are to blame?"

Y/N:"Yep, and Megumin here finished him off" I winked at Meg

All of the Crimson Demons that were with us cheered for Megumin

Y/N:"Well and not only that. Verdia the dullahan, Hans the deadly poison slime, and of course the one and only mobile fortress destroyer, we four took them all down!"

Devil King General:"N-no way! We did lose contact with Hans after he infiltrated Arcanrentia so it must be true...you are the leader yes? Tell me your name!"
