Chapter 5: Dullahan's arrival and Y/N's new skill

Y/N POV

We were about to pick a quest on the quest board (i mean, thats obvious, isn't it?)

Kazuma:"huh? there are hardly any quests!"

Y/N:"i believe there are many quests, but none of them really that easy for us" yep, they all are really hard to do, at least for a party of novices like us (them)

Luna:"im so sorry, one of the devil king's leaders just moved recently into one of the nearby castles, all the monsters in the area are hiding and we had to put harder quests"

Y/N:"well, understandable, right Kazu--"

Kazuma:"FU--"

Timeskip

The three of us returned from not getting any quests

Aqua:"i dont care if he's a top leader, if he's an undead just watch me! "

Kazuma:"so, it means that until capable adventurers or knights are sent here to beat him there's no quests that we can take on?"

Y/N:"seems like it"

Aqua then grabbed a flower and pucked its pettals off showing it to Kazuma

Aqua:"Look, this is incredible, its such a fine work, do you think the sales will go up--"

Y/N:"its just a flower, you can grab one and do the exact same thing"

Me and Megumin where walking to somewhere where she could use her magic

Y/N:"can't you do this alone?"

Megumin:"then who would carry me home?"

Y/N:"guess that's a good point, but why not ask Kazuma, Aqua or Darkness?"

Megumin:"Darkness is with Aqua doing who knows what, Kazuma is a perv. and that just leaves you"

Y/N:"*sigh* well i guess you do make a point"

After that we kept walking until we reached a random area away from the village

Y/N:"can't you just do it here?"

Megumin:"if i do i will get scolded by the guardsmen again"

Y/N:"yeah, that makes-- hold on, again?"

Megumin nodded

Y/N:"did they hurt you?"

Megumin shooked her head

Y/N:"alright, guess we have no choice then"

Y/N:"that sounds like a good spot" i say looking on a castle on the distance

Megumin:"yeah, sounds good, ok, back off while i ready my spell"

Y/N:"you got it"

I backed away while looking at Megumin, then while she chanted her spell i decided to look at my adventurers card to check my skills

Y/N: im sure i saw a new skill here...
