9 ~~Y/N'S HOUSE-MORNING~~ 9

Sunlight is pouring in through y/n's window.

She lifts her head up and realizes she's on the floor.

She gets up slowly and sees her glasses on her bed.

She grabs them and puts them on.

Her vision is blurry.

She takes her glasses off and looks at them while giving a confused look.

She puts them back on and her vision is still blurry.

She takes them off and shrugs.

She then puts them on her bedside table.

While doing so she looks in her mirror.

She sees something and shrieks.

MOM
Y/n?! Are you okay?! What's wrong?!

Y/n doesn't reply.

She just stares at her reflection in the mirror.

She covers her mouth with her right hand then puts her hand back.

Y/N
Nothing mom. Sorry. I just thought I saw a bug.

Her mother mumbles something about how y/n screams over nothing and is too dramatic before walking off.

Y/n keeps looking at her reflection.

In the reflection, y/n has a large green tail.

She touches the tail and gasps.

Y/N
Oh my God!

She places her hand on it again.

She slides her hand on it and notices it's smooth, scaly texture.

She pulls on it with both hands and the tail comes off.

She gasps while holding the tail in her hands.

She looks around for somewhere to put it.

She opens her wardrobe and stuffs the tail inside.

She shuts the door and takes a few deep breaths.

She looks at her reflection again.

She gasps when she hears a knock on her door.

MOM
I'm making breakfast if you want to come down and have some.

Y/n looks at her reflection one more time.

Y/N
Okay, I'll be right there.

She quickly changes her clothes.

She then opens her bedroom door, shuts it behind her, and goes downstairs rather quickly.

She walks to the left into the kitchen and stands at the kitchen island with her elbows on the countertop.

Her mother is cooking bacon, eggs, and toast and doesn't notice y/n.

Y/n's younger brother is sitting in a chair at the kitchen island.

He smiles and waves at y/n.

Y/n smiles and waves back.

Y/n mother turns around and notices y/n.

MOM
Oh hey y/n. I didn't hear you come in. Breakfast should be ready shortly. Jake, do you want toast or cereal?

JAKE
Cereal.

Y/n's mom grabs a box of Special K cereal above the refrigerator and puts it on the kitchen island.

She gets a bowl, a spoon, and a gallon of milk out of the fridge and also puts it on the kitchen island.

MOM
Here ya go.

JAKE
Thanks, mommy.

MOM
Oh y/n, Sarah told me you came home not feeling too well. Are you feeling any better?

Y/N
Uh yeah. I feel much better.

MOM
I guess sleeping does help solve your problems. You know I was reading an article about teenagers and it said-

Y/n glances at the clock hanging on the wall while her mom is talking and as Jake begins eating his cereal.

Y/N
Oh shoot, I'm gonna be late. Sorry mom, but I have to go.

MOM
Oh without breakfast?

Y/N
Yeah. It's okay, I'll get something to eat later, but I really have to leave. Bye.

MOM
Oh okay, bye sweetie.

Y/n rushes out the front door.
