Chapter 19

27 ~~INT. PETER & HARRY'S APARTMENT-NIGHT~~ 27

Peter is sitting on the arm of a chair while y/n is sitting in a chair across from him.

They both have their heads turned to look at Harry, who's standing up, facing the other way, talking to MJ on the phone.

HARRY
Incredible? What do you mean he's incredible? No. Alright, wait. Stay there. I'm going to come over. No, I'm gonna come...all right. Fine. Will you call me in the morning? And we'll go and have breakfast and...I want to buy you something. Because I want to. It'll make you feel better. Okay. And what do you mean, incredible?

Peter smiles at this remark while y/n rolls her eyes and scoffs.

HARRY
Alright. I'm sorry. Sleep tight. Don't let the bedbugs...

Harry stops talking and sighs.

He turns around to face Peter and y/n.

He begins walking over to them.

HARRY
She's all right. She's just a little rattled.

PETER
Yeah.

HARRY
Look Pete, I-I should have told you about us. But you should know I'm crazy about her. It's just that, you know, you never made a move.

Peter nods his head.

PETER
You're right. I didn't.

HARRY
I'm-I'm gonna get some rest.

Harry begins walking to the stairs while y/n nods her head.

PETER
I'm gonna stay up for a while.

HARRY
What was that thing?

PETER
I don't know. Whatever it is, somebody has to stop it.

Harry nods his head.

HARRY
Well, goodnight.

Y/N
Goodnight.

Harry then walks up the stairs to his room.

Y/n watches him go as Peter looks at the floor.

He sighs and y/n draws her attention to him.

Y/N
Are you okay?

PETER
Oh, yeah. I was just thinking about today and that thing.

Y/N
Don't worry. I'm sure we'll be able to handle this. I mean, there's two of us and only one of it.

Peter nods his head while still staring at the floor.

Y/N
Well, I'm gonna go.

Y/n stands up and this brings Peter out of his daze.

Y/N
I'm gonna try and get some sleep.

PETER
Yeah, okay.

Y/n smiles and begins walking towards the door.

PETER
See you tomorrow.

She turns around and smiles.

Y/N
See you tomorrow.

Y/n then turns back around and opens the door.

She shuts it behind her as Peter watches.
