45 ~~INT. Y/N'S APARTMENT-NIGHT~~ 45
Y/n is sitting on the couch in her apartment.
She's staring out the window when her phone rings on the table next to her.
She grabs it and answers it.
Y/N
Hello?
PETER
Y/n! The Green Goblin has MJ!
Y/n stands up instantaneously.
Y/N
What?! Where?!
PETER
At Queensboro Bridge! Can you please hurry and help me save her?!
Y/N
Of course! I'll be right there!
Peter hangs up and Y/n throws her phone on the couch.
She quickly runs over to her closet and grabs her costume.
She quickly exchanges her normal clothes with her superhero outfit.
She then races out of the apartment.
46 ~~QUEENSBORO BRIDGE~~ 46
Y/n is fastly approaching Queensboro Bridge.
She's hopping from skyscraper to skyscraper.
She then reaches the outer beams of the bridge.
She keeps going until she's standing next to Peter.
She looks up and the Green Goblin is hanging Mary Jane off the bridge with one of his arms, and holding the cable to a Roosevelt Island Tram full of children with the other.
GREEN GOBLIN
And I see you've brought a friend. No matter. This is why only fools are heroes because you never know when some lunatic will come along with a sadistic choice. Let die the woman you love.
Mary Jane is screaming while her slippers fall off into the water below.
GREEN GOBLIN
Or suffer the little children.
The children in the tram car began telling Spider-Man and Lizard-Girl to save them.
GREEN GOBLIN
Oh and don't worry Lizard-Girl. I have something for you too. Or you can choose to let die the man you love.
The Green Goblin side steps and reveals Harry lying down, regaining consciousness.
Harry then sits up with a panicked expression.
He gazes around wildly as the Green Goblin kicks him and he flies off the bridge.
LIZARD-GIRL
Harry!
Harry begins falling, but grabs onto a beam of the bridge.
He's now hanging there shouting for help.
GREEN GOBLIN
Make your choice, the both of you, and see how heroes are rewarded.
SPIDER-MAN
Don't do it, Goblin!
GREEN GOBLIN
We are who we choose to be. Now choose!
The Green Goblin lets go of MJ and the cable to the tram.
They both begin falling as Peter and y/n shout no at the same time.
SPIDER-MAN
I'll save them both, you save Harry!
Peter then begins running off to save MJ.
Y/n starts running as well and begins scaling down the bridge to reach Harry.
HARRY
Please hurry! I don't think I can hold on much longer!
LIZARD-GIRL
Hang on! I'm coming!
Y/n is almost at Harry when he begins losing his grip on the beam.
HARRY
Oh no. I'm slipping!
LIZARD-GIRL
Hold on!
She begins crawling towards him faster.
She reaches the beam as he slips.
She manages to grab his arm before he falls.
She struggles a lot to pull him up, but manages to.
He sits down on the beam.
HARRY
Thanks. I thought I was a goner there for a second. Uh, I don't mean to be picky, but isn't there a safer place for me to sit?
LIZARD-GIRL
Uh, I'm kind of busy right now so no, but hang tight!
Y/n then begins crawling away.
She crawls to the outer beams of the bridge and sees Peter holding a web with one arm and the cable of the tram in his other arm.
Mary Jane has her arms around Peter's neck.
The Green Goblin starts flying down towards Peter on his glider.
Y/n begins crawling down towards Peter as he tells MJ to climb down.
Peter's web begins breaking and y/n is crawling down as fast as she can.
Peter is still talking to MJ, but now she's crawled down and onto the tram cable.
Y/n reaches the driveable part of the bridge and looks under it.
She spots Peter's web and grabs a hold of it before it breaks off of the bridge.
She struggles holding it and puts all of her might into it.
Her feet slide on the bridge more closer to the edge.
Suddenly, the Green Goblin hits Peter and he starts swinging.
This causes y/n to almost lose the web, but she quickly pulls it up again.
Peter glances up and sees y/n holding the web.
The Green Goblin then hits Peter's hand and Peter does a backflip in the air.
He is still holding the web, but has let go of the cable tram.
He swings down and grabs it again as MJ falls down and grabs the side of the tram car.
He gives the tram cable a little slack as the Green Goblin comes flying towards Peter again.
This time with spikes outside of the glider.
GREEN GOBLIN
It's time to die.
The Green Goblin approaches Peter fast.
LIZARD-GIRL
No!
Y/n gives the web a little slack, and Peter drops a few feet.
Something then hits the Green Goblin in the head and he flies over Peter's head.
Y/n looks in her peripheral vision and sees people on the bridge throwing things at the Green Goblin.
CITIZEN #1
Come on up here, tough guy. I got a little something for you. Leave them alone! You're gonna pick on people trying to save a bunch of kids?
CITIZEN #2
Oh, yeah, I got something for your ass! You mess with Spidey and Lizzy, you messin' with New York!
CITIZEN #1
You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us.
People are still throwing things at the Green Goblin as Peter lowers the tram car onto an oncoming boat.
The people cheer and applaud.
MARY JANE
Spider-Man and Lizard-Girl, watch out!
The Green Goblin flies toward Peter and ties a rope around him.
He then begins flying away, dragging Peter and y/n along with him.
The Green Goblin gives a maniacal laugh as he flies Peter and y/n into the side of an abandoned building.
