15 ~~EXT. STREET-NIGHT~~ 15
Peter and y/n are walking on the sidewalk when they both see cop cars driving by with their sirens on.
They look at the cars, then notice a group of people in a huddle on the sidewalk.
MALE COP #2
Sir, you gotta get back.
MAN #1
I can't see. What happened?
Peter and y/n give each other confused looks as they walk towards the group of people.
MAN #2
Old dude, man.
MALE COP #2
Come on, folks. Keep moving, please. Keep moving. Let's go!
Peter starts walking faster and y/n follows him.
MAN #3
What happened?
MAN #4
Someone got hurt.
WOMAN #1
How?
Peter begins pushing himself through the crowd with y/n still following.
PETER
Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me.
FEMALE COP
Stay back. Stay back!
A female cop tries to prevent Peter from going any further, but he pushes past her arm.
Y/n stands just in front of the female cop.
PETER
That's my uncle!
Peter crouches down next to the old man lying on the ground.
PETER
What happened?
FEMALE COP
Carjacker. He's been shot. We just called the paramedics. They're on their way.
PETER
Uncle Ben? Uncle Ben. Uncle Ben?
UNCLE BEN
Peter.
PETER
I'm here, Uncle Ben.
Peter begins crying.
UNCLE BEN
Peter.
Uncle Ben lets go of Peter's hand as he dies.
Peter begins crying harder.
Y/n is watching; her face is full of emotion and empathy.
MALE COP #2
They got the shooter. He's headed south on Fifth. We got three cars in pursuit. All right, folks. Come on, help us out, move back.
Peter's face suddenly becomes filled with rage.
He stands up and begins walking past Uncle Ben's body.
Y/n gives a surprised expression.
She begins following Peter.
He starts walking away faster and she starts walking briskly to catch up to him.
Y/N
Peter? Peter!
He begins running.
She starts running too while still shouting his name.
He runs down an alleyway and throws off his sweatshirt he was wearing to reveal the top part of his Spider-Man costume.
He quickly puts on the mask as well and begins climbing up the alleyway wall.
Y/n has finally caught up to Peter and stands in front of the wall, looking up at it while he climbs it.
Y/N
Peter!
He keeps climbing.
She takes a deep breath and begins climbing the wall as well.
She still shouts his name.
