---------At the school-------
We got out of the car and all the students were staring at us.

Geez don't they have anything else to do?

"Oh, we're also very famous in school." Angelo said as he and Antonio joined us.

This school is huge.

#richkidschool.

"We'll see you guys at lunch." Antonio mumbled and went off with Angelo.

"Well, I'll see you later," Luca said when we reached the Admin office.

"Kk."

"Hello, I'm Lucia. Can I have my timetable?" I said.

"Oh hi dear. Please give me your full name." the desk lady replied.

"Lucia Romero."

"Alright. I'm guessing you're related to the Romero brothers."

"Yea."

She smiled and handed me the timetable and my locker number.

"Thank you. Have a great day." I said.

"You too, dear."

I went over to my locker.

I hummed Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish as I checked my timetable.

AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP English, AP Math and Spanish.

Proud to be smart :)

I felt an arm wrapping itself on my waist.

Without hesitating, I grabbed the arm and flipped the person over. I am now pinning them on the locker.

"I guess that's one way to say I miss you." the boy said.

It was the same boy who fought me at the rink and the one who took my last sour patches.

My eyes roamed over him then to his right wrist.

OMG.

"Wyatt?" I whispered shocked.

I pulled myself away from him.

OMG is he real?!

Wyatt POV

The first time was at the rink. She pinned me down to the floor and I got a glimpse of the tattoo.

Our tattoo.

I couldn't believe it.

She was The Shadow.

But should I be surprised?

I mean I met her at a boxing class.

She has the talent.

Then the second was at the candy store.

Her and her sour patch addiction.

I saw her tattoo again. More clearly this time.

And now I am being pinned against the locker by her.

"I guess that's one way to say I miss you," I said.

"Wyatt?" she whispered.

She looked at me like I'm a ghost.

Wait no. I am Ghost.

She looked at me like I've eaten her candy in front of her.

"Hey Valencia." I have a habit of calling her that.

She used to hate it.

She stood and just stared at me.

People around us stood looking like 🤨.

"Are you gonna stand there or-"

Before I could finish, she jumped onto me like a koala.

"I missed you so much." she cried.

"I miss you too, patches."

"You miss my hugs or me?" she chuckled as I let her go.

"Hmm. I don't know. I mean you give good hugs." I joked, checking her out. "But like you're still crazy hot so I'm gonna go with you."

She smiled. "I miss you."

I pulled her into another hug.

What? I like hugs.

And the bell rang.

We walked to our class.

"So AP Chemistry first?"

"Mmhmm." she hummed.

"Aren't you gonna go to class?"

"AP Chem."

She fake gasped. "You've grown into a smart boy." and pinched my cheeks

"Girl- stop that....Make an entrance?"

"Always."

I kicked the door open.

All eyes snapped toward us.

"Mr Garcia, one day, the door will break if you keep doing that." Mr Lanson mumbled.

"And who might you be?"

"I'm Lucia Romero, your new student."

He's eyes widened a little. "What pleasure do I have, having 2 Romero's in my class? I hope you're the smarter one."

Someone protested from behind the class.

"I don't know sir. I guess it's your lucky day."

"Or not." I mumbled but they heard me.

"I suggest you choose your friends wisely, Ms Romero. Please take a seat." and he glared at me.

What did I do?

"Oh I did," Valencia replied, going to the back of the class.

I sat next to her.

We sat behind her brother, Luca.

He turned to me. "Stay away from my sister."

"Luca," Valencia scolded.

They continue talking.

I ignored them.

I have my best friend back.

My Valencia, my soul, my heart, my everything.

I thought about her for the rest of the class.
