We just closed the case and Trudy came up the stairs and called my name snapping me out of my thoughts.

Hailey- yeah

Trudy- Lauren is here for you

Hailey- Hey Lauren.. here sit

Lauren- you said earlier you knew where I was coming from I can't get it off my mind

Hailey-... yeah

Lauren- you don't have a ring

Hailey- cause when I'm at work I wear it.. around my neck see

Lauren- why

Hailey- cause I like to keep my relationship away from my job and anything happens to me these rings that symbolize my love for my husband will be close to my heart

Lauren-...

Hailey- on the inside of my engagement ring it says I'll always love you like it's the beginning and on the outside it says Mrs Jay Halstead now on my wedding band it says my husbands favorite saying before he leaves for work... no matter where I am I'll love you Hals

Lauren- Hals

Hailey- my last name is Halstead and my husband says I'm bossy so he calls me Hals

Lauren- and he's military

Hailey- no Army he just came back two and a half months ago and two weeks ago he's PTSD got bad and we have a daughter she turnt two three months ago and a another six year old daughter and I'm pregnant so that adds stress to him and he can't really sleep so when he gets tired he goes in the guest room and falls asleep cause he doesn't know if he's PTSD will kick in so at night when I'm in bed and he's like really tired he lays on the floor and holds my hand

Lauren-... it's hard

Hailey- and he's so tough in front of the girls but my oldest is smart and she'll knock on the door and she begs for cuddles and the next morning he isn't next to her so it breaks her heart and it's hard but he does the work and he works on himself and I wouldn't send your husband to a rehab I didn't trust I know a lot of military and army wives and their husbands went their for help and even army and military friends that went their and when they come out they'll be different not the old them but happy

Lauren- thank you

Hailey- no problem

She started walking away and I grabbed my bag when she turned around.

Lauren- your husband do you think he'll get better

Hailey-.... *smiles* yeah I do... I also wear these necklaces around my neck cause when he is gone it's like he's arms are around me... Jay Halstead doesn't give up he fights and I know at the end of the day who my husband really is and you know who yours is

Lauren-.... yeah

Hailey- go home to your kids cause I'm going home to a dirty kitchen and instead of cleaning I'm going to make them get in bed and just lay there as a family you should try it

She walked out and when I had my phone and anything else I needed I headed out. I got to my car when I heard a voice.

Kim- Hailey

Hailey-... yeah

Kim- your married

Hailey- yeah I don't really tell people... Kim Adam isn't pushing you away he needs you more than ever

Kim- yeah

Hailey- yeah so go home and show him the love he needs

I got in my car and drove home. When I got to the house the kitchen was dirty and the girls were in bed so I went ahead and washed. When I got out and got in my night clothes I went into the guest room and Jay was laying down. I walked over to him and rubbed he's arms.

Jay-... mmm Hailey

Hailey- the blanket working

Jay- yeah didn't wake up last night

Hailey- come to bed

Jay- Hailey

Hailey- Jay please

Jay- it's for your safety

Hailey- *voice breaks* I'm safe in your arms Jay... I need you in bed with me so please just hold me tonight

Jay- bad case baby

Hailey- yeah

Jay-... let's go

I went and got Kynlee out her bed and Jay got Kailee. We got in our bed and I threw a weighted blanket over all of us. I scooted into Jays arms and relaxed.

Jay- I love you

Hailey- I love you too

Jay- I'll always love you like it's the beginning Hals

Hailey- *smiles*

Kynlee- mmm mama your home

Hailey- hey baby

Kynlee- you okay

Hailey- yeah I'm okay now

Kynlee- I love y'all

Jays POV
We laid there listening to the girls talk till they got sleepy and dozed off on top of me. I kissed Haileys head and she dozed off on my arm. I looked down at my girls and knew all I needed was in this bed. I fell asleep knowing everything was gonna be okay.
