Deja vu

Elijah and me broke up three months ago. Everything was so perfect and then he just left. At first I was confused as to why but then I found out about Brynne. His new girlfriend. They do everything me and him used to go together. It sucks and it hurts that I can't seem to move on like he can. Today I'm bringing back his things. He left all his stuff at my house so I've decided to give it back. Keeping it here hurts more.

^arrived at Elijah's house^

"Hey Elijah I bought back your things"

"Hey Elijah here is your stuff"

"Hey Elijah why are you such a dick" I practise what I'm gonna say whilst waiting for him to open the door. But when he finally does I humiliate myself.

"Hey Elijah  I bought back things you dick" I face plan myself and Elijah chuckles.

"Thanks for bringing it back y/n and I'm sorry for what happened"

"Well it's fine except she is a copy of me"

"What?"

"You took her to Brazil. To our special place. The one that I found first."

"It was a coincidence"

"Oh and all those jokes that I told you that your now telling her"

"Y/n stop it hurts" he states whilst clenching his jaw

"Do you get Deja vu"

"Y/n p-please" he mumbles and brynne comes to the door.

"Do you get deja vu?" She also and Elijah crumbles.

"Y/n you were scared of commitment and she isn't"

"Do you get deja vu when she's with you?"

"Do you get deja vu" she asks

"No" he mutters which makes her laugh and walk out the door.

"I'm leaving" she screams

"Hey y/n?" She asks and I nod.

"Care to join me?"

"I'd love to" I smile and we walk away from him holding hands.

And that's how I found my best friend and how I dumped the Worst guy ever.
