Destiny of Love

"Why can't you tell me the place where you are taking me too?" she complained as I tied her with a seatbelt and started the car.

"And why can't you understand that it's a surprise?" I imitated her.

"It better be a good surprise..." She mumbled as she turned her head towards the window to hide her sullen face from me.

Finally, she got discharged from the hospital in the morning with some strict instructions from the doctor. She must not over-exert herself and proper rest for at least one week was a must. So I decided to take her to a very beautiful and calm place away from this city hustle. That place had  strong meditational vibes that would calm her mind, body, and soul.

So, when in the morning her neighbor aunty came to meet her I asked her to pack Kisa's bag with everything that might be required by her. She was more than happy to oblige as now she knew that I was Kisa's boyfriend. While aunty went back and got busy with packing, I dialed the number that the cop handed me yesterday to call on. So, finally after recording Kisa's statement police too left handing over Kisa's broken phone. Luckily it was working so she first called her parents and then Misa. She didn't tell them about yesterday's event but just assure them that she was fine. Then she dialed some other friend's number and apologized to her for she won't be able to have a girl's day out with her as she had some urgent unavoidable work. After done calling, she started answering all the messages sent to her. On the other hand, I was working on her discharge process.

Finally after completing everything we bid adieu to the hospital. Aunty was so nice; she even made a second turn to the hospital to hand us her belongings which saved me the extra thirty minutes drive to her house.

Her grumpy expressions slowly changed to happy and excited one as the scenario changed from the big buildings and crowded highways to green scenery. Either side of the road was guarded by the long trees. There was a bridge that joined the two roads separated by the river.

"Stop! Stop! Taehyung." She suddenly brought me to halt as I reached the middle of the bridge.

The car shrieked as I suddenly applied the brakes.

"Hey! What happened are you ok? Did it pain?" I pointed frantically towards the stabbing point.

She shook her head and gave a nervous laugh.

"No, actually I wanted to click here pictures with you" She fluttered her eyelashes and I released a sigh.

She first took the photographs of the beautiful scenery and then when she started taking selfies I just didn't give a good pose. So we ended up taking selfies that had only our head and no face, some only showed our foreheads but no picture showed our entire face.

After few minutes I had to drag her into the car as she was now unwilling to move from here.

" Kisa we will get late. I want you to have rest but you are jumping here and there like a monkey."

"Can't we stay for a few minutes more? It is still daytime, we won't get late." She whined like a baby.

" You don't even know where I am taking you so better listen to me," I said trying to be a little strict and luckily she listened.

"I wanted to keep one good picture of ours as my mobile wallpaper. But see you didn't let us click even one picture good." she huffed.

"We will get a lot of chances for that sweetheart. And I don't know how your phone is working so flawlessly despite being broken."

"It's magic" She grinned and started looking out of the window.

The rest of the journey went smoothly as this baby bear had now fallen asleep.

I parked my car in front of the cottage. I looked at the watch which showed 4:00 pm.

"Kisha wake up, we reached our destiny," I said playing with her hair.

She groaned and finally opened her eyes. I got outside of the car and then helped her to come out.

She blinked her eyes several times at the cottage before finally looking at me.

"It is beautiful."

Her smile was really contagious.

I looked at the white cottage in front of me. It was a gift from me for my family. Everything in this cottage was customized by me. The interiors, the exteriors, the type of flowers in the garden, everything was there on my approval. This cottage was secluded on top of a small hill that was surrounded by cherry and plum trees. It was a beautiful sight when white and pink flowers blossomed during the spring season. There was a small gate on the entrance which was bordered by small yellow and red rose climbers. The whole cottage was surrounded by a variety of flowers. There was a small swing on the left side of the house which was also a gift for my mother. She loved swings.

"Is there some water body nearby, I heard a faint sound of something like a flow of water?" She asked trying to concentrate on that sound.

"There is a brook behind these trees. You will find small fishes there. I'll take you there tomorrow."

"You really made my holidays awesome..." She grinned and clapped her hands enthusiastically.

"Hold on little girl, there are more awesome things to come." I enhanced her eagerness.

I took her hand and welcomed her inside this beautiful house of mine. It was a little dusty but still looked homely. The entrance led to two ways, one had stairs leading to the upper floor which had three rooms, one was mine and the other two were of my siblings.

The other path led straight to the living room, again a bedroom of my parents and a small kitchen.

It wasn't a big house but just perfect for our family. But we rarely spent time here together since everyone was busy in their own lives.

I brought Kisa's belongings to my parent's bedroom. She was not in a condition to run up and down the stairs, whereas I decided to put my belongings upstairs in my room.

"This is not fair Taehyung, how can you leave me alone downstairs for the whole night. What if some wolf kidnaps me." She complained and made a pout.

"There is only one bedroom here and your wounds don't allow you to jump like monkeys. If you want me to accompany you here in your room then you can say straight away. I am more than ready to do so." I teased her.

Her cheeks turned red which made me laugh more.

"You are really a monkey Kisa....look at your cheeks," I said between laughs.

In response, she just glared at me and huffed before turning around to open her bag.

" OK OK, Sorry I won't tease you now...Promise."

But she ignored.

" Shuno na, chai piayogi."

She swiftly turned around without wasting a moment and looked at me in awe.

I was learning Hindi for past five months to surprise her. Though I was at my beginner's level and most probably said this sentence most destructively but I hope she understood.

"I said do you want tea in Hindi" I translated when she didn't respond.

"I understood what you said, you pronounced some words incorrectly but I am overwhelmed hearing it from you." She smiled.

"So am I forgiven," I asked hopefully.

"100% forgiven."
