Annabeth's POV
Regret. Everyone regrets what they did to Percy nobody more than me. The only person who doesn't is Jake and everyone treats him as an outcast. Leo came back and the went straight to the Roman camp when he found out what we do. The Romans hate us and are only nice to Clarisse, Chris and Chiron from our camp. On the day Percy went missing and his birthday we hold campfires in his dedication hoping he comes back. I never show up to the one on his birthday and go and cry by the lake as it's where we had our first proper kiss. The Hunters of Artemis haven't been here since Percy left. I suspect Artemis doesn't want them to be near us. The gods are all disappointed in us and deliberately make our quests harder and longer. Whist the Roman one's are shorter and easier. Camp has also lost it's touch. The atmosphere isn't the same as what it used to be. It's more depressing and just sad. I am the one who tries the hardest to find Percy. It's been ten years and we haven't found anything. Not a single thing.
