Minho slapped my hand away as I dragged him through the students of our school.
"Why are ya always bloody like that with people?" A sigh escaped my mouth once we weren't in a mob of kids.
"Because I'm me." He replied in a murmur.
"Good that." My response was in the same tone as his.
A flash of light burst in the back of my head. Pain pulsed through my brain and there was clearly no stopping it. Stumbling back into Minho, I felt his arms keep me steady.
"Newt? Newt, what's wrong?" The voice was distant. Everything was distant. Then everything went black.
When I woke up, sunlight and several boys were above me.
"Newt are you okay?" Alby's voice rung out. I decided to ignore him and stand up slowly, to take everything in. I-I obviously wasn't in the building of my high school anymore. Surrounding the green grass and buildings, were tall, stone walls."What is this bloody place?" I asked as confusion flowed over me.
"You just need the Med-jacks..." Alby motioned a guy that I didn't recognize over to me.
"Come on Newt." The boy gently took my arm and started to lead me towards a little structure. I dug my heels into the ground, furrowing my eyebrows as I did so.
"Stop it. I want to know where I bloody am." The boy tugged harder with annoyance clearly wiped across his face. "Stop it!" I pulled back harder than he had.
"Newttttt," He groaned and dragged me into the structure completely.
Maybe if I act like I know what's happening I can figure it out, I sighed, going slightly limp, letting the boy pull me along until we reached a little cot inside of the building. I sat reluctantly and watched as the boy got a glass of water before coming back over to me.
He handed it to me-or more like shoved it to me- then studied me for a moment. The air around us seemed to cool in the quietness.
I looked down at my clothing. It was nothing like I was wearing earlier and these clothes on my body were certainly...dirtier.
"Are you okay?" The boy's voice interrupted me. I must have looked confused because his next word were, "Did you hit your head when you fell or something?"
My eyes gazed down. "I don't bloody know."
He folded his arms over his chest and leaned back on the wall. Out of no where, the pain that I had hated came back into my brain.
My vision was once again turning grainy. I dropped the glass of water and it shattered at my feet. Feeling the water pool around my shoes, I moaned in pain and leaned back, the corners of my vision blackening until it was completely black.
