" Ahh...mmmm. .. shourya... Actually ..." He started scratching his neck trying look for a suitable answer..and tried my best to control myself from not laughing.
" What papa, I cannot understand you?" He said frowning cutely..
"actually bacha maama was bit tired after the rituals yesterday so we directly came here so that mama can have enough rest, we were already coming to meet you now but you are already here..." He somehow managed to make him believe it..
" Oooh.. mama did you sleep well?" He cutely asked me cupping my face in his tiny palms.
"Awwww yes baby mama had a very good sleep" I said thinking about the cruelty this little angel had to face due to his mother and what a lovely darling she lost due to her greed but somewhere I guess this was bound to happen so that I get this little munchkin all for myself I know I am sound selfish but yes I want to be a good mother to my baby I smiled at his concern and love towards giving him a small peck on his cheek, "just give me a min shourii will go together ohk?"
He nodded excitedly pecking me on my cheeks and then jumping off my hands hopping on the bed with a toothy grin as if he has conquered the world.
After we both completed our daily chores we finally left towards the temple where both our families were waiting for us.
I immediately rushed towards mama getting all emotional and hugged her tightly.
" My baccha looks quite happy and relieved now" my dad replied patting my head.
"Yes papa. I missed you'll" I replied slightly getting emotional as if meeting them after ages....
How was I away from them for two years I thought..
"We missed you too....." Mama replied, " and finally I can feel my baccha back" she replied wipping off her tears..
I just looked up thinking how I never felt their pain, was I being selfish?..
"Now since our shona is finally happy and normal let's celebrate this, shall we?"
Advait's dad said pulling me for a hug..
I hugged him feeling all happy and relieved as if reviving again with a sudden euphoria inside me.
"Never hesitate to talk to us about your problems baccha" he said kissing my forehead making me feel as if some princess.
"Yes uncle and sorry if I hurt you" I replied feeling guilty of hurting the people who love me the most. Saying so I could see uncle's facial features changing from happy to furious I wondered what it could it be..
" Mohan is she not our daughter?" Uncle said furiously...making my eyes as wide as saucers.
I turned towards the others only to find some stuffing their laughter whereas aunty with a stern face I immediately turned towards advait for help and as soon as our eyes met he mouthed "papa" that's when it striked me how can I be such a fool.
"I am sorry PAPA" I said cutely holding both my ears showing my glittery puppy eyes praying for it to work, I guess it did as I could see uncle's opps "Papa's face breaking out in a huge smile.
He again pulled me for a hug," I always wanted a daughter like you shona and see I have one now" he said caressing my hair.
"Ammmm ..mm" I could hear someone clearing their throats more evidently to gain our attention need not know whom it belonged to for sure it was Jaya and siddhi, though I am happy now but they still ditched me and they need to be thought a good lesson. I smirked internally and turned towards then with a stern face making them drop their smile suddenly..
"Dii ......." Both whined together making me more excited to continue the drama.
"Papa who are they? And what are they doing here?" I teased playing along.
" Di...... We are really sorry ....didu pls na ... You know na we are always in your team" siddhi said back hugging me showing her puppy face.
"Yes didu..." Jaya joined along.....
" Is it? Well it seemed different yesterday " I replied..
Twisting my lips faking my irritation.
And I could see the eye talk going on between advait, Arav and these two cartoons and before I could understand their intensions I was already engulfed in a bear hug lead by Arav, Jaya and siddhi making me loose my balance and all of us rolling down breaking in fits of laughter enjoying the merry moment..........
