EVANGELINA MIKAELSON, orEvieas her best friend would call her, stood staring at her "family" getting ready to go on another one of their field trips. All she could do was stare as they packed, and hustled Hope -- her twin (yes, her twin) -- to hurry and get ready. She didn't really know where they were going this time, only that they were going: without her, again.
It was sad that she was immune to it by now. When she was younger, she had tried everything to get her family's attention, but it never seemed to work. They were always focused on their precious Hope. On the perfect twin. On the tribrid, not the human.
You heard it right. Evangelina, the only Mikaelson, in a thousand years, to ever be born a human. Crazy, right? Yeah, she knows.
At first, she was hurt that they would rather spending time with the well-adjusted, straight A-student, popular, twin, rather than the one that never had any friends (except for Hayden, he was the only that she had, that Hope couldn't take from her), that was bullied, and all around, had a tough life.
But she knows it will never change. So why try? It wasn't like they would ever care. Not even if she were to fall off the face of the earth. And that's okay. She had Hayden, and that was all she would ever need.
