Klaus wasn't a quiet person. In fact, his siblings would argue that Klaus never shut up. So when he came home one day completely silent and (it seemed) somewhat sober, they were extremely confused. What had happened? But then they noticed his figiting around you, the way he couldn't maintain eye contact, but every time you were distracted could only stare at you. They pieced two and two together, and decided to poke him about it a bit when you were gone. He spilled immediately.
