We've been at this hospital for 3 weeks, Onika slipped into a coma so it's no telling when she's gonna wake up. I've been staying with her the entire time, I haven't even been home. Her parents cant come out here to the U.S because they dont have a Visa, so Durk and I have been staying in contact contact in contact with them, this was not how I wanted to meet them but things happen for a reason.
The Doctor approaches us, but he doesn't look to happy. My heart starts pounding hard as hell.
" Dr. Oz how is she?" Durk says speaking up.
" Onika is awake and she's doing well", He tells us.
We all start laughing, and hugging each other. My girl is a fighter, I knew she was gonna make it.
" But there's an issue, an unexpected problem we ran into", he says and we all get quiet.
" What's wrong?" I ask him stepping up.
" Her memory is gone", He says and my heart drops literally to the out of my stomach.
" what's that supposed to mean?" Booka asks.
" Her entire memory had been wiped out, due to the distress of whatever had happened was too traumatic and her brain couldn't handle it, so her brain chemicals erased her memories ", he says to us.
" So she doesn't remember anything?" I ask him.
" Nope. You guys will have to refill her memory bank. Maybe her memory will come back, but at this rate I doubt it will, I'm so sorry", he says.
" Can we see her?" Durk asks with tears in his eyes.
" Yeah but one at a time, she is asking to see who brought her here", he says.
