So the rewrite,

It's not done, no where near—

HOWEVER.

The time lines and plot are planned out and I'm happy with all the research I've done and the story I've created for this.

But- Uh— haha— it been uhhh . . . It's been 3 years.

So Y'know, I felt like I could give you guys a little something to make up for it. It's up to you if you want it tho.

So the first, which could happen the quickest and is the easiest for me to do, is share some past attempts at the Blank Rewrite.

These are firsts drafts of the rewrite that I scrapped because I didn't like or chose to ignore and restart from. They're much older and we're done around when I first announced the rewrite.

Would you like to read them? There aren't many, maybe 3 at the max that I'm willing to share because I don't wanna reveal anything used in the current timeline I have set up. But you'd still get to read them anyway.

The second option is sending requests, blank specific requests for one shots and such.

When I stopped writing for blank I was in a pretty bad slump, a slump I made worse by forcing myself to write. So eventually I had to stop writing completely and give myself a break.

Which I did! I loved my break because I got to focus on my other hobbies like art and playing my saxophone.

But . . . When I tried to come back to writing, last year, I had lost a lot of my skill which genuinely hurt me so much that I cried and didn't touch my laptop again for a week.

But I slowly worked myself back up, focusing on planning out the story and writing small stuff. I'm not we're I was, but I can only get back through practice.

So, you send requests, I get practice, win win.

Both can happen, depending on what y'all want, but I'm considering making a separate book to put them in. Something called like Blank Extra Scenes or something. In there I could post the one shots and the rewrite attempts, maybe some updates on the official rewrite. I'll probably do this if one or both of the options are chosen.
