Chapter 7

Tom watched as Pan sat on the beach chair in the garden looking out onto the lake.

His attention was soon guided over to a girl trying to fix a broken down car.

"Want some help?" Tom asked the tall blonde girl when he got close enough.

She sighed. "Thanks I can't seem to fix it."

The girl walked away to get a bottle of water and left Tom there.

Pandkra watched from a distance. She felt ger heart clentch as the two talked.

She didn't know what this was and decided to ignore.

As Tom finished up on the car, he saw Gloria and Rob approaching.

Rib started introducing Gloria to his daughter  when she returned after she got the water.

Gloria offered to finish up on the car and so he let her.

"Hey nice shirt." Jasmine said as Tom was leaving.

"Thank you." He said back trying tk be polite.

At this stage Pandora had walked up to him.

The two decided to gk first a walk in the woods just having decent conversation.

"Hey nice shirt. ThAnK yOu. Oh shut up." Pandora mocked the cincerstaion that happened earlier.

Tom burst out laughing and so did she.

There laughing was interrupted by talking. The two his behind a tree.

They looked to the side if the tree and saw their dads and their friends playing arrow rullette.

"No way are you boys playing without me." Pan said coming out from behind the tree.

All heads snapped in her direction.

"Pan! Get back here!" Tom hissrd at her but she grabbed his arm and dragged him with her.

"What are you doing out here?"  Lenny asked sceptical of this meeting.

"Well we came for a wlak but found something much more exciting." Pan Saudi smirking while cracking her knuckles.

All kf the men including Tom gulped this couldn't be good.

"Alright let's do this." Marcus said.

The others started hyping themselves up as well.

Then the arrow was shot uo into the air.

"I think I lost it in the sun." Lenny said before running away.

In a few short seconds everyone had ran except for Rob and Pandora.

"CURLYYYYYY" Eric yelled and Lenny looked at the dog and his daughter.

"Tom grab the girl." Lenny said and the tow ran back tk the circle.

Lenny grabbed Curly onto his shoulders and Tom hauled Pan over his.

Rob started cheering when the arrkw came down onto his foot.

This wasn't good.

The group ran back yelling that Rob was injured.

"What happened?" Sally asked getting closer with the other moms.

"He was attacked by Indians." Tom said quickly. The moms looked to Pan for answers.

"Oh ya they were huge." She said nkdding her hands and flailing her arms.

"I think we have to pull it through." Pandora suggested.

"I wanna do it." Kert said but Pandora interfered.

"It was my idea."

"I'm older."

"I'm younger."

"I'm taller."

"I'm shorter."

"I'm smarter."

"Im .... Not falling first that."

The aguement between Kurt and Pan was topped when Gloria came over.

Just then one of Robs other daughters came down.

Rob introduced her as Amber. His daughter Amber called down another one they now know as Bridgett.

Lenny and Marcus were getting fun out if this one.

Gloria examined the leg before suggesting maize or something.

But Rob snapped.

"That shit doesn't work women. Get some alcohol on this shit."

"And theres the snap." Marcus muttered.

"Well damn." Tom said confusingly. "Womeb are strange."

This gained him an elbow into the side by Pan giving him the look.

'Women are mysterious.' He thought.
