A hand grabbed the back of the ravenette's shirt, pulling him under the stairs he was about to go up. "What the-" He started to yell before a hand clapped over his mouth, muffling his words. His first thought it was Bowers, but this person smelt way to nice to be him. He was about to try and figure out which of his goons it was but they let released their grip on him.

"What the fuck?" He finished his previous statement as he turned around, raising an eyebrow as he saw Victor Criss. "God, what do you want? I haven't even done anything-" He started rambling before the nicest member of the Bowers' gang cut him off by shushing him.

"Be quiet, will ya?" Victor whispered, looking around as if he were afraid of getting caught. No doubt who he was watching out for.

Richie stared at the boy and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Okay, if you're not gonna tell me why you so rudely grabbed me and dragged me under the stairs, I'm gonna go."

Victor rolled his eyes and sighed softly. "Right, yeah, sorry." He mumbled before looking back at Richie. "Don't take your normal way home. Henry is fucking pissed he hasn't been able to get you for the café incident or whatever, so he'll be waiting for you on your way home. I suggest waiting a bit here and then taking the way that goes through Neibolt street."

The slightly taller of the two males couldn't help but stare at the other. "Are you serious?" He said after awhile. "Why should I do that? How do I know you're not telling me this just so Henry can ambush me there?"

"You really are fucking dumb." Victor mumbled and rubbed his face. "Does it look like I'm trying to set you up?" He asked as he rubbed his palms against the sides of his jeans. "Look, I gotta get going, I told Henry I had to take a shit, that was like ten minutes ago so he's gonna know somethings up if I don't get back soon. It's your choice if you listen to me or not, I suggest you do."

Richie stayed silent as he watched Victor walk away, pulling a cigarette out of his pocket as he went. He was totally confused, why would Victor, someone who was friends with Henry Bowers, help him stay clear of Henry Bowers. He immediately thought it was a trick, but there was something about Victor that made him believe he was genuinely helping him.

"Chee? Richie?" Eddie called out to his friend, trying to get his friends attention.

"Dude!" Bev yelled and slapped her zoned out friend's arm, causing him to wince and snap out of his thought.

"Ow! What the fuck Bev?" Richie grumbled as he rubbed his arm, turning his head to look at the red head.

Bev only sighed and rolled her eyes. "The bell rang, it's time to go." She hoped off the desk she was sitting on and walked out of the classroom to go meet the other losers.

Richie sighed softly and bit his lip as he gathered his stuff slowly. Eddie took notice of his actions and raised an eyebrow as he moved to be in front of the desk Richie was sitting at.

"What's going on with you today? You've been weird since second block, you're head is up in the clouds or something chee." The brunette said softly, reaching out and poking his cheek.

Richie scrunched his face and gently slapped the others hand away. "Don't poke me. It's rude." He said softly but couldn't help but show a small smile.

"It's funnnnn." He dragged out the 'n' with a small laugh as he kept poking his cheek, despite the ravenettes hand swatting his own hand away.

"It's funnnnn for you." Richie said, copying the way Eddie said the word. "It's annoying for me." He grabbed Eddies hand to stop him and pushed him away.

Eddies eyes widened a little as he lost his balance from the push and started to fall backwards. He reached out to grab Richie or anything to stop his fall.

Richie didn't think he pushed Eddie that hard, but since he wasn't expecting it, it caught him off guard. He quickly stood up and grabbed eddies arm, tripping on his own feet in the process.

Eddie gripped onto the taller males arm as he fell into the desk behind him, slower then if Richie hadn't helped him at all, but it was still fast and it hurt. He was half laying on the desk, his feet were on the ground but Richie was on top of him. His hands were on either side of Eddies head, keeping him from completely falling on top of the smaller boy.

The ravenette couldn't help but stare at Eddie. The fall had happened quickly so he still had to process what happened. He glanced down at the boys lips before looking back up at him, a slight flush covering his cheeks now as his heart started beating faster.

Eddie had no idea what to do, so he stared at the person on top of him. He could feel his heart beating faster then before but he brushed it off as an after shock of the fall. His face reddened a little as he noticed Richie looking at him. He cleared his throat a little to break the silence.

"You're breath stinks."

Richies face flushed even more as he quickly stood up. "Shut up." He mumbled, pretending he didn't care as he covered his mouth with the back of his hand.

Eddie laughed and playfully rolled his eyes as he stood up and grabbed his stuff. "Come on, the others are waiting and you still haven't told me what's been bugging you."

The now totally embarrassed teen shrugged a little and picked up his things as well. "I think I'm gonna hang back a bit, got shit to work on and I won't get it done if I go home."

He had thought about what Victor had said and decided he would trust him. The only worst case scenario is he gets the shit beat out of him, which is normal for him.

The smaller male raised an eyebrow and looked at him. "You sure? Is it because I said your breath stinks?" He asked. "I was just joking Chee, come on." He held his hand out and smiled.

Richie sighed softly and grabbed eddies hand. "Fine, but I've decided to take a new way home today. You're free to come with me, but it's totally out of the way for everyone else." He said as he walked out of the classroom with Eddie.

"A new way home? Why?" Eddie asked as he walked with his best friend to where they always meet the other losers.

"Just because, trying something new-" he started to say before stopping in his tracks.

"What?"

"They left."
